2014 NFL Draft In Review

I'm also happy the Saints and Panthers did nothing to help protect their QB's

Cam, Brees and Ryan are getting ripped to pieces this season

I have a feeling the Panthers fall waaaaay back down to earth this year.

Raiders had a good draft, I don't give a **** about anyone else's.

Well, I do, but we finally did this right

Idk son, that RGIII traded yielded the Rams Janoris Jenkins, Greg Robinson, Michael Brockers, Alec Ogletree, Stedman Bailey, Isaiah Pead, Rok Watkins, and Zac Stacy

Yeah and the best player out of those so far has been Stacy.

I'm not saying it's not a nice group, just that they've proven nothing yet.

I did a horrible job this last year of keeping up with the top NFL QB prospects. I'd like to watch as much as I can next year....Starting with Mariota since I'm in the Pac-12 region. He's easily 1b to Winston's 1a right now, but we all know how those things can change pretty quickly. Hundley is another guy I want to evaluate.

What other Q's are out there for 2015?

1. Jameis
2. Mariota
3. Hundley

Bryce Petty at Baylor....Sean Mannion at Oregon State...Dylan Thompson at South Carolina, that's all I can think of off the top

Goff at Cal, if their line actually protects him this year.

Well that ain't happening. Cal's OLine is still terrible

Just saw a video documenting the Bills draft day and it shows how they targeted Sammy leading up to the draft, they were willing to trade anywhere in the top 5 as long as he was available which is why they paid a hefty price. Pretty interesting stuff.

If you've seen enough of Sammy, it makes sense even though you might think they gave up too much. They had their reasons why Stevie was expendable, I guess they feel comfortable with EJ behind center and they picked 3 OL who could be very good if they get their **** together. They could be a force offensively if their evaluations are even close to reality.

goff's only a true sophomore, not worth focusing on yet

maybe kevin hogan at stanford (tall, big body, nfl still loves that), braxton at osu, though we've probably seen all we're going to see there

Do we think the Julio trade was worth it?
Because that's probably in the range of a best case scenario for the Sammy deal.

I think it's arguable... But I would say no.

The loser of the Juilo trade was Cleveland to be honest, only notable player they got with those picks were Phil Taylor. They took Brandon Weeden and Greg Little with those extra picks

(not trying to pile up on the Browns)

Matter of fact add Nick Marshall also, don't know how I forgot about him, think he will be the biggest riser among the power 5 conference QB's now that he has a spring and a full year in the system, and with the addition of WR Duke Williams...Marshall has probably the strongest arm out of those listed also

There is a kid named Jerome Couplin out of William and Mary the Lions signed as a UDFA.

Dude is a problem.

Taylor Kelly is ok
Bo Wallace sucks
Love Chuckie Keeton, but I think he maxes out in college.
Lil B is going to make a nice WR in the L, depending on his hands. His feet are ridiculous
Like Cato
Nicc Marshall is going to put up dumb numbers next year.
Hogan is not very good
Dylan Thompson sucks
Mariota gonna go to whomever thinks he will be the next Kaep
Great season from Coker @ Bama and he launches himself into the QB discussion
Hundley will be in that convo for the 2nd group of QB's
JW Walsh has a chance to get his name out there 1st game of the season
If any of those USC QB's have a pulse, they will be pushed in the convo

If Cato was 3 inches taller and about 30 pounds heavier, he'd be the first QB off the board in the 2015 draft. I really think that he'll be starting sooner, rather than later in his career.

No chance.

Falcons got the #22 pick that year and we turned that in to Weeden :x :smh:

They won that trade.

There is just no chance the Bills make the playoffs.

Browns won.

Think Bama Fans will be expecting too much out of Coker, has the size, arm strength, and mobility, but I think Bama fans need to realize he transitioning into a new system, with new players, although I do like Bama's reeiving core as one of the top 3-5 in the nation

I'm really looking to watch more college ball this year, I always say that I'm going to watch more but then I get sidetracked. It makes the draft more fun when you know the prospects, especially the later rounds.

Bama fans expecting too much? Who woulda thunk it?

Never liked Bo or Hogan. Looks like a pretty thin QB class unless someone we're not talking about comes out of nowhere. I had no idea of Blake Bortles until Bowl Season.
