Nike Hyperposite 2 2014

we need whoever cops em on here to run like 10 pickup games with em and drop a real review. we need to know if they conform to your foot and loosen up. the people need to know!
Let's hope nightwing makes good on that performance review, because my pair is one walk around the house away from being sent back to eastbay, in a plastic bag, without the shoelaces.

My advice... Purchase a pair from nike.com and hoop in them. If you hate them then return them for a full refund within 30 days. No questions asked.
Yes it's retail but it could save you in the long term.

This way you can do your own review

I get what you are saying about slowing down @phongstagram and I am too a little bit. Bulky shoes have never made me feel slower though. I played for 2 hours yesterday in the kobe 8s with the elite insert and I should have worn better socks because my foot is blistered and my knees felt the difference. Normally I play in Jordan xx9s or lebrons. The range of motion is probably the only change. I don't think it will limit my game or anything though and they will if anything prevent injury. Lows allow me to cut without restrictions and I feel like I can get really low to blow by defence but now I'm not too worried about that type of flexibility and I'd prefer safety and less soreness so I'm not liquid at work the next day. I may not have these for another month or so but I will definitely write a full review.

I play on the ground for the most part, pretty light on my feet when landing, I never really get that soreness from lower profile cushioning setups, and that range of motion is pretty important. I'm sitting on a pair of Lebron 12 that I've only played in once because they were so much stiffer than the rest of my usual rotation.. but when compared to the hyperposites the LeBrons felt like a sock, I'm even considering giving them a second chance now.

But perhaps it's more just personal preference in feel, once one is spoiled with performance woven on the XX9 and Flyknit on the Kobe 9 Elite it's difficult to accept anything else, I've kinda grown fond of that cliche "you forget you have them on" feeling.

In conclusion, this purchase was in high hopes and good spirits, but I don't think this shoe is a match for me. I assumed these would be the lebron X reincarnated, but that doesn't seem to be the case based on initial Fit. I'll be sending these puppies back unworn and unlaced.

I look forward to any updates or reviews on the Hyperposite 2.. I'm sure my experience is very unique and could differ from other's. Keep the dream alive!

Oh, here's a picture of my rotation compared to the "Hulkposite".. He lifts, he definitely lifts.

Kind of want a pair of these to hoop in. Loved the originals on the court. Between the price point and already having a nice rotation for the court can't swing it right now. Def will pick up on disco.

Saw all three colorways at a HoH on Monday. I picked them up and tried to bend/flex them but the posite would barely budge. You guys weren't kidding, these are really stiff. Can't imagine wearing them much less hooping hard in them.

exactly. i didnt know how to better describe it than put the nose in one hand and heel in the other then tried to bend it. but that thing wasn't budging, and im nowhere near weak. price point has it so NOBODY is balling in these yet. has anyone even seen a performance review ANYWHERE for these?

tried on the hyperposite 2 today. fit was great. ankle support was great. i'm a little skeptical of the cushioning. the only zoom max i've experienced before was the lebron X. i will say that the hyperposite 2 felt a lot more stable than the lebron X. the lebron X made me feel like i might tip over. hard to explain.

Are there any news that they will release other colorways as well? The first colorways released so far are not so convincing!

ya i've heard nothing on more colorways. such a shame. the first three colorways are absolutely hideous.

hoping sporadic colorways will trickle out over for a year or two the way they did with the first hyperposite. maybe we'll get a decent colorway eventually.

Whoa!! Markdowns just went into effect. I didn't expect them to be this heavily discounted so soon. Either way all 3 pairs will be copped now

clearance sale? what do u mean, outlets? i dont have ANY by me. im tempted to cop but, then i remember how stiff they were. to dude who has them already, did they ever loosen up???

No. The Nike clearance sales with an additional promo code that happens every couple months...

Been stalking this thread and I gotta say, even with a 20% off clearance coupon like Nike usually does, I don't think I could stomach spending that much on shoes that ugly.  I'm confident they'll be cheaper at outlets soon.

And I'm still waiting on nightwing to review these...seems like he's not a fan since he's taken so long to get to them.
