The RETRO Gaming Thread!

PRIME PRIME that's the IGN vid I was referring to a few posts up. He's pretty adamant about the stretching of the screen being a con. Do you think it's that big a deal?

Nah, not really. I guess I'd have to see it in action, but for $100 its not that big of a deal. The pro's outweigh the cons imo.

From what it looked like on video, the image isn't warped that badly. Some "purists" might not like it, but I just want SF2 Turbo in my hands.

For the experience, I don't think it ruins it imo. Sure the original Supaboy has a 4:3 screen but the S has that rechargeable batter. I'll take that trade

What's the hardest game you guys ever played?

Mine would be Super Ghouls and Ghost [emoji]128123[/emoji] on the SNES.

Off the top...

As far as play control...NES Gumshoe...you had to blast enemies AND blast your character to make him jump/move!!! :x
I couldn't handle it at all.

one of my fav arcade games but was extremely difficult...Rolling Thunder...

^ a ****in classic!!! :nthat:

That gumshoe game lol. So frustrating. I remember a friend of mine years ago bought it from a garage sale thinking it was kung fu since only about quarter of the picture on cartridge could be seen. Boy were we surprised and pretty disappointed.

So, laugh at me if you want...But I still have no idea what the Nintendo Robot was used for lol.

Can anyone explain what games you used with it?
