3DS has some great ones. This year's Bravely Default is a notable one. If you liked early Square RPGs from the 90s, you should give that one a try.

I heard there was a part two for the ps2 but I never got around to playing it. But this game was just awesome. left left up.

Sports games DEFINITELY suck now compared to the past, you kidding me?
You play sporting games bruh? EVERYBODY agrees that ESPN NFL 2K5 is the holy grail of football sims. To this day that game plays better and more realistically than any Madden ever. Madden is damn near unplayable with how broken the physics and the AI are, no amount of tinkering with the sliders fixes the game. It's an effectively broken title.
You play NBA 2K? Damn near everybody feels that product quality and AI has diminished over the years.
You play Fight Night Champion? The older iterations of the series played more realistically than this ********.
You play EA Sports UFC? Again, the Undisputed series by THQ played infinitely better than the current.
You got an XBox 360/one papi? If so say bye to baseball, because it's either MLB 2k or NOTHING, yeah I'd take nothing because the former option is GARBAGE.
Licensing agreements have destroyed the integrity of developers. They have NO competition because they can just buy a license with a sporting league and just release essentially roster/graphical updates every year. Pure laziness has befallen the sporting realm of gaming and this is a WIDELY held sentiment amongst sporting gamers.
Now I don't play Fifa so I can't speak on that. But IDK how long you've been playing these games, but if you've been an avid sports gamer for years like myself you'll be outright delirious to believe that the genres have improved.
Can't believe I even had to break all that down....Thought all that was a given.

Had a couple homies over for drinks. Took a break from destiny decided to play samurai showdown. Could of played on the SNES, but I said forget that! Had to play it on the console it started on. That Neo Geo life........couldn't afford it as kid and can't even afford it as an adult, games are still too expensive lol.

It's like if it isn't a AAA title it's nothing. Development team are falling left and right due to high cost of production. This leaves us with a "take what you can get" industry
