The RETRO Gaming Thread!

Filling a memory card and then ultimately deciding which game save you're going to delete to save your current game. :smh: |I

When your memory card erases your ish them feels bruh

to beat the original metroid...i had to pause it, go to sleep then school the next day...then resume after school
it actually didn't freeze or overheat!!! (codes were a hassle in this game, tho then had them)

but i had the original zelda freeze while playing...with all the data erased upon reset!!!

Man, it was a horrible feeling to come home and find that the game had froze.

They'll also never know what it feels like to put in long passwords to continue your game.

Stole my mom's Wii...need a retro controller to get onto Mario 64. This will do for now.

Side note: I ******* hate this level.

That one is fun!  All you have to do is run all the way and time the tornados + the angry sun.

Level was so much easier than I remember it.

I must've been just mashing the keys when I was younger like a meathead.

Nice collection guys

I have nothing close to that but I will post a few n64 games I have. Anyone have any gaming groups on facebook or hashtags on ig to follow that you guys keep up with to find these games, consoles, & accesories?

Has anyone here ever beat the original TMNT on NES? NOT the Arcade Game, but Turtles 1

i did
i owned the game and yes it was very difficult especially the play control

but i got it down to a science were i could beat it in about 20 minutes which is comparable to modern speed runs

so i must have beat the game at least 50 times over

also beat the first two ninja gaiden nes games which were more difficult and took longer

any game i owned, i beat
haven't played m tysons punch out in decades but am confident i could beat him still in 2-3 tries at most - right now

and the first mega man was ridiculously difficult (again, play control)

then part 2 was one of the easiest games ever!

other difficult games i beat:

arkanoid
batman
castlevania II: simon's quest
both double dragon 1 & 2
dragon warrior
metroid

games i didn't beat:

battletoads (was at the very end of the nes run, more time-probably would have beat)
friday the 13th
gumshoe
ring king
tetris
zelda II: adventures of link
