i don't know if it was because i was a youngin, but i remember the bulk of NES games I played having :x :x :x difficulty levels.

TMNT, Zelda II, Batman & Simon's Quest all toyed with my emotions :smh:

no, i think it eventually crashes
but i don't know anyone who could get that far on the original nes tetris when it was first out
w/o any coding or cheats

also, before nes, most atari games, arcade or port - didn't have endings, they would crash or reset...if you were good enough

You want to know pain? Get to the very end of FF7, 50 sum hours of playing, only to have 4 saves read "file corrupted" :x

I had a cheap memory card that said memory card on it :lol: :smh:

Also I'm glad there are some RPG heads in here.

My first RPG:

Lunar Silver Star Story - underrated game in m opinion. Game play was meh, but the story was cool.

Some classics I've played:

FF X

FF VII

Lunar 2

Chrono trigger

Chrono Cross

Y'all remember a RPG called Legend of Dragoon. I never finished it but it wasn't bad. 
 
I've never played Super Mario RPG either. I read that Paper Mario was sort of a sequel to it though and that was :pimp: so I've had SMRPG on my radar for awhile now. I'll probably end up playing it this summer.
