The RETRO Gaming Thread!

There are solutions, but they're not cheap. I've looked into it for the past few years. There's a company in Japan that makes an upscaler that was made for playing old systems on HDTV's called the XRGB Mini Framemeister. It's not mass produced because it's a niche item, so they can be pricey. I've seen them sell for $300-$400.

The reviewer plays A Link to the Past at about 5:55. :pimp:

It's nowhere near as good, but for my PS2 I got a component cable which makes the system look a little better on a HD screen.

Looks great. If I was big into owning/playing the actual consoles/cartridges that'd be a must-buy for me.

That modded OG Gameboy is sick :pimp:.

How do you guys tackle classic RPGs? Look up a guide/walkthrough online or just wing it?
back then I use to wing it. now I use a walkthrough because I hate missing items you can't go back to the longer you progress in the game.

Anyone have a Raspberry Pi with RetroPie on it? I just ordered all of the necessaries from Amazon and should have them at my house tonight by 9pm. Hopefully I can get it up and running in time to play some stuff before bed.

Yessir! The first multiplayer experience I had with video games. I remember my older brother coming over, realized I had a PS2 and drove my to Circuit City to buy the game for me and a 6ft. ethernet cord so I could play.

I wish Sony re-made this game.
