But they plan to cut him huh?
Those tweets are a few hours old, tons of conflicting reports and articles have been made since (that show that someone is lying). It's not looking good for the NFL.
I wasnt really posting them in regards on whether the Ravens saw the tape or not.

It's just funny to me that the team confirmed what Ray told him matches with the video shows back then....but now they want to cut him?

and now this:
can tell you this. I had a brief text conversation with a Ravens player I've known for some time who told me that the locker room before stood by Rice. Now?

"I don't think he has very much support now at all," the player texted. "I think it's gone."

The player added that one reason the locker room stood behind Rice was because Rice gave them the impression that he was defending himself from her (as ridiculous as the notion is of a weaponless, petite woman being a threat to a pro athlete). The video, the player said, betrays what Rice told players.

Assuming the CBA doesn't have something blanketing this... http://www.dllr.state.md.us/labor/wagepay/wpatwill.shtml

In Maryland, employees work "at the will" of their employers. This means, in the absence of an express contract, agreement or policy to the contrary, an employee may be hired or fired for almost any reason -- whether fair or not -- or for no reason at all.

You'd have to think that the players are protected to some degree. It's going to be interesting to see what happens from here.

so tmz was able to access this video, but not the nfl? right

Y'all really think the NFL is better then TMZ when this is what TMZ does for a living.

TMZ don't sit on their stories or videos either so I don't find it hard to believe.

TMZ probably told Goodell...

We want (this amount) to not leak that tape and Goodell figured he was bigger than this issue now he has a real PR disaster on his hands

Just saw the video. It made me sick when Rice dragged her out of the elevator. He should have picked her up gentle like a bride. :smh: He's really screwed up. He has lost a lot of respects from players and fans.

Was just about to post that Ravens player quote, apparently he's lost the support of the locker room after this came out.

Only problem is you have folks like Schefter and Glazer pissed off because they were giving the information that the NFL did see the tape.

I find it hard to believe all these reporters are lying about the info they got

So, why the 2 game suspension then? If the conduct was THAT detrimental to the team's policies, Rice would have been gone 5 weeks ago.
because it's football and everything is backwards when it comes to the culture of sports

the 2 game suspension wasn't the team's decision. the team didn't do a damn thing. they sat idly by on some "well we're not gonna say anything until the case has been reviewed by the commissioner)

the 2 game suspension was a mistake handed out by the top person in the league, who admitted he made a mistake in handing out such a light punishment (after all the criticism he received)

for the ravens to once again look the other way especially after this video would make them complicit and/or ok with this

Man did the league really screw this up royally . On top of players and fans being pissed, they also managed to piss off a lot of their mouthpieces by basically playing them and making them look like liars.

on top of that the team had harbaugh do a song and dance for press claiming how ray rice was a such a heckuva guy and shamefully propping up a mic in front of his wife's face a few days later to let the world know how much of a standup guy rice was/is

the team now has a bit of a track record when it comes to looking the other way or even setting it's PR dept. in gear to combat the negative attention (right or wrong), but that could be practically any nlf team. that's the awful culture of sports we have

@RapSheet: According to agent @jeffsperbeck: #49ers RB @LaMichaelJames has requested and received his release from the team. Wow.
