I'm no physcologist or anything, but isn't that behavior typical of someone in an abusive relationship?

And I really do think Goodell is on the hot seat. We can talk about how he's making owners money all we want, but this is only day 2 and the snowball is building. If it gets to a point like the Sterling incident, with mounting public outcry, then the outcome usually favors the public.

She's been with Ray since she was 16. So that's potentially years of things she's dealt with IF this wasn't the first time Ray has ever done something like this.

I don't know what goes on in their private life outside of this incident, so I'm not gonna call him scum.

He just did something stupid/ broke a "life" rule. I hope they work all this out, cuz the have been together since youngins. Its obvious they love each other.

He bought this on himself though.

The NFLPA has to fight this. That is what they are there for, they have to defend their players, even if it is not the popular move. Plus they can't let the NFL set the precedent that Goodell can indefinitely suspend players for something they were already punished for. It is not Rice's fault Goodell botched the initial penalty. Realistically he could be reinstated today and no team is going to touch him. He is radioactive.



Now if the NFL can prove that Rice lied to them about the content of the video then they could claim the additional penalty was for the lie. They can say the 2 game was based on a story they were told and the video does not match that story. The NFL is going to have a hard time getting past this mess.

The NFL should've just allowed the 2 game suspension. Flat out. They thought it would make the NFL look good in spite while giving him additional games, but in actuality - it's further making everyone involved look stupid.

The Ravens cutting him is one thing I understand, but placing an additional suspension or banning is where the inconsistent line was crossed.

There is video evidence with Rice and none of the other cases. That's the difference. Also why everyone will see how the next one plays out because it is so rare to have visual evidence
 
That Vid became a huge Black eye for the NFL especially Goddell now if he really saw that vid b4 hand and then proceeded to give the 2 gm susp then wow....the real question i wanna know is what would make Ray Rice snap that much to hit your wife like that in public...like what really happened in the Casino was she creepin? :nerd:

Considering he was in the elevator, he probably thought he would get away with it or just wasn't really thinking about his actions because he was so mad.

Theres cameras EVERYWHERE these days that couldvve of waited till they got home man....but seriously does anybody know what the wife did before hand to get hit like that?
 
They are getting Rice out of here. More of a spectacle than anything. People don't care about his wife. This is an opportunity to tear down someone who's made millions playing a game and people are frothing at the mouth at the chance to do so. Domestic violence in any form is wrong, but people are acting like he committed genocide. Why is the president speaking on this?

All I'm tryna say is, why is she getting negative reactions for standing by Ray Rice, when in the past women who did the opposite in similar situations have been ridiculed and dissed in rap songs?
