@MikeTriplett: #Saints CB Jabari Greer announced his retirement while appearing as guest analyst on ESPN's First Take. A great career, ended too soon.

Not a chance in hell Goodell makes it through this mess. If it's not the FBI investigation, then the NFLPA will be coming for his head.

*edit*

Just a thought...if Roger is fired, I think there is a great chance that Condoleeza Rice could be his replacement. Wouldn't that be some **** in the wake of everything going down with Rice?

Can the NFLPA get rid of Goodell?

Probably do a vote of no confidence.

The NFLPA is a joke, please

Seriously it's pitiful.

My guy CT. Used to watch the challenges only for him. The random fights and challenges were too good. I wonder how old he is now.

Well, we'll see just how much armor he has on in the upcoming weeks. I think the NFLPA will have something based off of the fact that suspensions can be reneged only to be upped right after. That's got to have A LOT of players worried...especially, since as you said, Roger is the judge/jury/executioner.

*Back to CT for a second...funniest **** was him carrying that dude on his back in one of those challenges. Dude was TOO focused
Oh, yeah?

MTV never had intensity like this.

I think the bigger issue, more so than the FBI, is what the NFLPA is going to do

The same NFLPA that allowed Roger to be on his sheriff **** since he came in while players routinely speak out against him?

The same NFLPA that hasn't been able to get him removed as judge/jury/executioner...even AFTER negotiating a new CBA? (which they clearly lost, btw)

The same union that can't get its players...in the highest grossing league...guaranteed contracts?

Their biggest win in Roger's tenure was getting the previous commissioner to step in and overrule him on Bountygate. Think about that.

Roger Goodell ain't worrying about the NFLPA bro.

Just to clarify, I do think there's a small but growing chance that Rog could lose the Commish gig. The momentum of the backlash keeps gaining steam and there's new info every day so there is slight hope.

I just think that IF it happens...the NFLPA will have very little to do with it like it normally does. It'll be the same as the NBA...as soon as the sponsors start dropping, so does Goodell.

The only way Good ol Rog gets canned is if sponsors start pulling out. The owners love that he is a yes man that gives them cover for their own decisions. The replacement refs thing was all on the owners but Rog took the heat so they wouldn't have to.

Pierce has not performed well historically against the Steelers, but I still prefer and like his chances as Baltimore's lead back over the course of the 2014 season over Forsett.
