Niners weren't that good before Harbaugh came to town, I wouldn't say he was given a loaded team either. Too many "me first" guys on San Fran, that's the problem.

And what's luck record ? As of right now the colts won one game against the ******* jags. Andrew luck stays on the ******* run too and stay throwing interceptions. ******* loser ain't top 5.

Every game besides one last season ...Matt Ryan put the Falcons in position to win so you can sit your goofy *** down with that.

Since 08 Matt has had one bad season.

"If Peyton & Tom" man kill that ******* noise..those dudes are sitting statutes in the pocket and would get ******* mauled behind a **** bag oline. You talking out your ***.

Yards and qbr look who's leading the league before you ever open your mouth again jive turkey

Relax, the whole point was neither Julio nor Matt are #1 at their positions.

With Julio being closer to that number than Matty Ice will ever be.

And you need to be takin some of that bass up of yo key strokes patna!

He was given a team that had :

a strong Oline ( some say the best in the league )

A strong running game ( Gore is workhorse )

Decent weapons at War/ TE ( crabby / VD )

3 out of 4 pieces on the LB corp.

Justin smith.

The real question is, would you want him to coach Houston if he was available?

They had talent under Singletary and Nolan and went nowhere.  Harbuagh was the catalyst for turning that franchise around.

Some of you guys are acting like he Larry Cokered his way to 3 NFCCG's and a SB

There's been talk about changing the OT rules since beginning of last season.

Matt Ryan outside or in the cold is a different game. Why are some of y'all even entertaining a top 5 discussion?

I know I'm in the minority on this because people hate ties but I've always kind of wished that they played OT like it was a 5th quarter.

Ridiculous. That same defense limited the damage and didn't give up a TD after Peyton threw what was almost assuredly a game sealing interception. I hate to ask the obvious, but why couldn't they do it again?

The OT rules are fair.

what's it matter anyway, peyton? we won the toss in OT last year and chose to give you the ball first. and you still lost

You can't. Football is much like soccer.

Once fatigue sets in the risk for injury and sloppy play greatly increase.

How would you like it if your team played 5-6-7 Quarters then on a short week had to play a divisional game.

OT should be sudden death.
Ideally they wouldn't implement it like that.

In the regular season they would play one seven and a half minute quarter.  If the score is still tied after that quarter the game end's an the result is a tie.

In the playoffs if the score is still tied after the 5th they would play a 6th quarter, and a sudden death 7th quarter if needed.

The OT rules right now are fair, and I don't have a huge problem with them.  I just think this would be a better solution.

Regarding the Seahawks-Broncos game, if the Broncos won the toss and received the ball, and Peyton drove it down for a game-winning TD, all we'd be talking about is how great he is, and how he put together two clutch drives to win in OT. There'd be no discussion of Russell Wilson not having a chance to respond. But because Russell Wilson was the one who drove 80 yards (it's not like they benefited from a huge return), it's all about how "Manning didn't have a chance". That's what's most irritating.
