I just think not enough is being made out of the fact that they knew about the tape and they knew what was on it. Goodell, if he didn’t know what was on that tape, he’s a liar. I’m just saying it. He is lying. I think that dude is lying. If you put him up on a lie detector test that guy would fail. For all these people to pretend they didn’t know is such f—— b——-. It really is — it’s such f—— b——-. And for him to go in that press conference and pretend otherwise, I was so insulted. I really was.

I really hope somebody calls me or emails me and says I’m in trouble for anything I say about Roger Goodell. Because if one person says that to me, I’m going public. You leave me alone. The commissioner’s a liar and I get to talk about that on my podcast … Please, call me and say I’m in trouble. I dare you.

Luck in his second year in the league, threw less picks than the veteran Ryan who's been in the league for 6 years?

yeah simmons is on point with his rant

too bad the nfl and espn/abc are in bed with one another. they support each other's habits. the whole charade sucks. they should stop trying to make it look like something it's not

basketball can't get here any quicker

 
Most people will interpret the Simmons suspension as being directly related to his Goodell comments. It's only tangentially related. He got suspended for calling out his employer. He's been suspended for the same thing in the past.

I honestly think Simmons has enough of a following and money to say F*** ESPN and basically just have Grantland break off (might have to change the name and pay buyouts for the staffers he wants to take) hope he does cuz I like grantland but hate espn
 
That was def ****** up what ESPN did to Simmons. He should leave any other company would be happy to take him and Grantland.

And as far as Luck goes, we know hes the next GAWD. We know. :D

Luck had 7 in last year's playoffs.
Ryan has 7 for his career.

Luck also had 7 TD's to Ryan's 9 career.



They have the same number of wins tho.

Luck's career is young people. Hes gotten to the playoffs with garbage teams.

Yes quite a few of those picks were his fault but hes still a young qb.

Jeez the criticism is harsh. lol

to follow up, Simmons was suspended for criticizing ESPN and calling Goodell a liar without being able to provide proof. The first part I get. The second part is so petty. ESPN talents say wildly more outlandish things every day. but Simmons takes the fall because he actually criticized ESPN.
 
I just hope this doesn't screw up Simmons' NBA Preview with Jalen. He started recording them yesterday. :lol:
