Washington has to play Seattle but at least it's at home with 9 days off

Cousins better forget tonight quickly

The whole CBS panel picked WSH except for Bill Cowher :smokin

Giants defense was relentless. Kirk might have had a bad game but he was under a lot of pressure tonight. 3 of those picks, he had someone in his face. Our defense has been solid overall in the last three games.

I don't know if it's the change in players on our O line or if they're just learning each other but we ran the ball and protected Eli the whole game. Everyone said we couldn't do it against that WSH defense.

Eli was looking good. That INT shouldn't have been an INT but doesn't even matter.

What a ******* game by the New York Giants

It's a joke, I'm glad every game hasn't been close. Sunday and Monday only Roger, fixit next year you idiot
I'd be fine with keeping them if they changed it so that only teams coming off byes play on Thursday.

To do this they would probably have to expand the regular season to 18 weeks, and give team two byes.  Which didn't work out so well in 93, but the league is in a different place now then it was then.

******** CB DeAngelo Hall confirmed he is out for season with a torn Achilles.

Joseph White Jr. ‏@JGWhiteAP 1h

Excuse the typo in last tweet. #******** have No. 2 offense in NFL, No. 4 defense. Only team with both in Top 5. (Not top 25).

Just gotta get some W's. I REALLY like what Gruden (and even Haslett) has done so far. No complaints.

This is why you let things play out a bit....

That's EXACTLY why I said "so far."

I know how to infer man . With context (posting the stat, then the statement), that's NOT what the "so far" meant.

But you got it. Update with those team stats after all the week 4 games.

Um, the tweet was posted after the Eagles game. "So far," OBVIOUSLY means after week 3....yanno, when the stat was posted. It's funny how you're sitting there telling me what you think I meant.

hate to say it skins fans but im glad that happen to Cousins last night to silence all that dumb talk about him taking RGs spot as the franchise QB...

I don't think people outside of DC understand how big Robert is to that city and organization.

That just shows you how desperate DC fans are to cling on to nothing.

What could he have possibly done for that type of support?

And i see people jumpin on the Eli train lol.

Yall gone learn.

What soured a lot of people on RG3 was that he fell victim to his own hype. His rookie year was arguably the best ever by a 1st year QB. Last year was an aberration because of the injuries/drama. This year was supposed to be different. Sucks for the kid b/c of the injury that happened vs. Jax. The game isn't fair at times, but it is what it is and you have to roll w/ the punches.

That being said, I 100% believe that he would have had excellent results vs. Jax had he stayed healthy and would have had a good day vs. the Eagles as well.

Cousins, as of now, is nothing more than a good backup who performs well in spot duty. Anything other than that, and you get the results like you saw last night. He's a turnover machine...makes Rex Grossman look like Tom Brady.

I want TEAM success and obviously Kirk to play well. However, when healthy, RG3 is the better option for this team (and their success) at QB. I'm not willing to write him off...yet. It's going to be virtually impossible for this team to win the next 2 games, but I am hoping for a split....maaaaybe a win vs. the Cards, but that's most likely wishful thinking. It's going to be a tall-task for Kirk to keep the ship from sinking unitl RG3 comes back around week 8 or so.

Everyone loves the backup QB. Especially if the love-affair with the starter has soured.

IF Robert can ever get healthy, I would like to see what he can do under Gruden. If the trend continues...RG3 staying constantly injured and Kirk being TO machine, we're probably looking at drafting a QB in 2016.

Oh, and to make a bad night even worse...there was this:

Keenan Robinson @KeenanRobinson1 · 7h

I thank you father God for protecting me and my family and keeping us safe tonight. A drunk driver hit us and almost wiped us out

:smh:

*edit*

Forgot to say...the Giants had a hell of a game last night. Eli was in the zone and Donnell was a flat out beast.

I live 10 minutes from DC, plenty of people don't believe in Bob. They don't think he'll ever be the same as week 1 and he won't be healthy again. I see Kirk getting killed BUT his O line got crushed throughout the night and in the second half, Kirk was making those desperate throws that turned into picks. This is what happens when you play a good defense.

Last night was a rough night. But I already knew the Giants always play the skins tough.

As far as Cousins and RG3 go. Roberts is obviously the better QB. The only thing that's keeping Robert from being a really really good QB is how he goes through his reads.

If he can speed that up and go through his reads more fluidly and not get stuck on the first guy he would be great. And that's the only thing Cousins does better than him.

1-3 :smh:

RG3 never has had as bad a game as Cousins did last night.

And there are more to come.

Skins Observations

-Cousins is Rex Grossman reincarnated.

-As a Skins fan it pains me to say but RG3 probably needs a new change of scenery to regain his confidence.

-Keenan Robinson is a stud

-Our safety play is atrocious, we've been unable to cover seam passes since Haslett became our DC

-The offensive line outside of Trent (LT) and Kory (C) is garbage.
