Unless they just completely bomb the season I doubt they fire Marvin Lewis. That dude seems so untouchable there. If Dalton gets Cincy to the playoffs again but is knocked out in the first round, what do the Bengals do? Time to move on?

For some reason I'm freakishly loyal to those who have had a degree of success. I was one of those that was against Alex Smith getting benched, but the Bengals at this point are too talented to get knocked out in the first round again. If it happens again it might be time to change coaches, I wouldn't give up on Dalton yet though.

Bengals have been cursed with the equivalent of basketball purgatory.

 That's so sad. The thing is, in basketball it's because they're usually not good enough to make it to the next round, the Bengals just choke every year.

Marvin is an A+ GM and his drafts have gotten them out of football hell. But his in game coaching is VERY questionable

to a certain extent. that palmer injury and dalton m.i.a. have to be taken into account. they were not beating the jets when they made the afc game. i think the bengals have just had horrible luck.
 
I love the competitive spirit.


Can't forget the skins duo tho. Especially after the numbers garçon and desean put up last year.


Man sept can't come soon enough.
