Anyone else feel an RGIII resurgence? I certainly do.

I do as well. I think his 3rd year will be very similar to Cam's 2013 season. I expect the Skins to be neck && neck with Philly for the division crown as a result.

**** RG3 and everybody that love him.

I'll chalk that up to hating/division rivalry.

Nope.

Why?

Need to see how he performs under Jay Gruden first. I'm hesitant to say anyone is going to do great after having a mediocre season until seeing them in a new system.

The RESURG3NCE is coming :pimp: if not....we're screwed. He actually has legitimate weapons on offense now. No more relying on Josh Morgan, Aldrick Robinson, and Leonard Hankerson. He's got DeSean Jackson/Pierre Garcon/Andre Roberts/Jordan Reed it's time to put up or shut up for RG. Also, no knee brace this year and no tension between him and the head coach. If he's honed his mechanics and is learning the new offense smoothly he should have a bounce back year. This is all just hopeful thinking though

RG3 set the bar SO high coming off of his historic rookie season. Last year was a disaster on a number of levels, but in year 3, that's where we'll see what he's made of. I think he's really going to bounce back. Like it was pointed out, he's got weapons (arguably the best in the league) galore. I'm excited to see what the offense can do under Gruden.

This.

I think he bounces back this year. And I can't wait to see what Gruden does. Like I said it's all about the right side of the Line and RG3. If they are good, we will be a very good offense because the weapons are there.

i'm on the fence about RG3.......knew he would be trash last year and got my friend for some money on them winning less than 8 games

I really dont like dude so I can't judge him w/o being biased

free Kirk tho

The RG3 resurgence along with Morris seems to be a popular school of thought in football circles and the fantasy world. He'll always be inextricably linked to Russy, Kaep, and Luck. The fearsome foursome.

Don't forget that their best team got torpedoed by a Steeler cheap shot.

I'm curious to hear how it was a cheap shot. Unfortunate hit but I'll listen.

And the offense played well enough to win that game regardless (though would've been closer 2nd half)

DMX ready to ride like he's blocking for Jerome Bettis.
He put on for his city

As much as I can't stand the Steelers, I didnt think it was a cheap shot

Really thought that was the Bengals chance of getting back to the bowl

Their D wasn't physical enough to compete with the Colts. Steelers were the only team in the AFC with a chance to beat them (IMO since that 05 Colts team was awesome)

I had to listen to this for 9 years from Cincy fans, the comment is tiresome to me. Even they have let it go

Yeah their D was far from great.

Offense was lights out though. Johnson, Henry, and Housh plus Rudi Johnson. Palmer was playing like the next Peyton Manning too.

I'll never let you forget.

They were one the better teams turnover wise I think

2011-Packers-esque defense

I think they had a legit shot as @100027 stated with their offense as  well

I know 10027, killing me over here

Good memory elpablo, however Peyton and that team wasn't prone to turnovers so that is why I don't see them being as effective. Pressure on the QB was the only way to beat that team and with the teams left Pitt was that team. Colts beat Cincy during the year if I remember correctly in Cincy but I believe it was a decently close shoot out

That offense is a perfect example of how quickly "young and up and coming" can end.

Palmer never recovered. Chris Henry died. Housh signed with Seattle where he was terrible. Ocho stayed until he got bad.

Palmer posted good stats after but yeah they seemed to just be empty stats and he never had another run like 05. Maybe injury or maybe that year just came together perfectly and he wouldn't replicate regardless. I'm just hoping DC doesn't come in here and yell at me

NFL: fortunes change so quick, crazy

DeSean Jackson won't sever roots

Despite rumors of gang ties, star wide receiver refuses to ignore his past

DeSEAN JACKSON HAS
an interesting linguistic tic that surfaces whenever he talks about things of the "illegal" or "unsavory" or "criminal" variety. After parking his lengthy two-tone Rolls-Royce outside an East Hollywood café one day in late May, Jackson ambles in and begins speaking about his relationships with "certain people" who do "certain things." People presumably involved in potentially illegal or dangerous activity are "certain people." Things that may be done outside the parameters of the law are "certain things." Combined with his habit of speaking softly, as if to avoid the prying of eavesdroppers, this intentionally vague use of "certain" makes clear that Jackson, 27, is a man working hard to avoid giving ammunition to those who would seek to destroy him with his own words.
