Bro I watched pretty much every Browns game last season. He was stellar, but no way I would put him that high just yet.


Typical NT, someone disagrees with you accuse them of not watching the game. Yeah I watched man, I was a Jordan Cameron owner and watched Josh Gordon kill his production :lol:.

I just question what you're watching if you think it's that far off because that's silly if you saw him. You basing my list off of all-time or something? Coming into this year, off of last year, that is my list. Josh Gordon is the 2nd best WR in football.

He won't be anymore though.

So instead of looking at recent body of work we're looking solely at LAST season's body of work as the framework for our rankings?


Hey that's they way you want to rank 'em, fine with me. I just rather look at a bigger sample size (2-3 seasons) before I rank fellas.


Not saying he isn't a top-5 WR, it's not a slight on him. I just don't think he's better than Dez or AJ.

That's how I do. I don't care about someones production 2 or 3 years ago because that **** won't mean a thing for him or his team for this next season.

So if we're going based solely off of last season shouldn't Antonio Brown be ranked higher? 2nd to only Josh Gordon in receiving yards and 2nd to only Pierre Garcon in receptions. 8 TD's to boot, by this logic he should def be higher than 10.


But none of us really believe that, do we?

You go to war with Pierre and Antonio because stats=talent level without actually watching the stats played out

but see Larry Fitzgerald had a pedestrian year by his usual standards and Andre Johnson still hasn't been able to convert receptions and yardage into paydirt.

Why are they ranked ahead of Antonio Brown if you're looking solely at last years production?


Why? because you know they're better based on their overall body of work.


You're not being consistent in your methodology now.
 
Because Larry still has top level ability. This is straight up my top ten guys who I think are the best receivers in the NFL right now. Looking beyond the stats is a must. I never said anyting about 'solely at last year's production.'

Josh Gordon was phenomenal last season, again. But ya'll do realize they pretty much ABANDONED the run last year right? They pretty much exclusively threw it to him and Jordan Cameron.


Ya'll don't even make sense right now. Talking about watching the stats play out, but not even taking into consideration that he was pretty much their entire offense. Yeah he embarrassed teams when facing bracket coverage, but he was also thrown to a TON. You throw the ball that much to some of the other elite receivers in the game and they'll produce even gaudier numbers.
