They not the same, but the "free AP" "free josh Gordon" crowd refuse to believe in these guys taking responsibility for stupid actions.

When did Peterson not take responsibility for what he did?

He shouldn't lose his career for whooping his kid.

Uhhhhh, maybe because AP beat the **** out of his kid, and no matter how big a douche Goodell is he still didn't commit a crime?

wrong is wrong dog. def not saying they the same, bc what AP did is unacceptable.

media has decided to sway their attention in another direction and Goodell nonsense will be swept under the rug. real corporate scumbag type deal.

stop making sense.

Who taught us that "whipping" was a form of discipline when we acted up or disobeyed? Who instilled that process in our heads and forced us to past it down to generation after generation? Same people who are up in arms over AP whopping his son don't see it that way though ..

There is a huge difference between disciplining your child and whipping them until they bleed.

No crime. Just lying in everyone's faces about the Ray rice tapes and the coverup. Then holding a presser to continue to not take accountability. The commish. The boss.

But kids don't look up to Goddel and his 44million dollar salary...So it's ok. Lol.

Not justifying what AD did, but he'll see his day in court. Roger seems to be in the clear. Only dude that spoke out about him got suspended.

I just want the playing field to be equal. For all punishments and media witchhunts to be equal.

Once more....I wonder why.

you think it's okay what AP did to his son?

I'm not up in arms about it like you are. Like I said when it was first reported, I've come from and seen way worse child abuse. This is only getting recognition because it's AP.

Thanks for articulating what I tried to say. Put it better than I did frankly.

You want an even playing field with the media?

And of course there have been worse cases of abuse. Those people probably aren't known or celebrities, thus not reported or cared as much about

I mean this guy Roger ended numerous careers in New Orleans years ago bc of some nonsense he called a bounty hunt. He suppensed guys for whole years for playing hard nose football. His excuse was bc they did not tell the truth when they came into the league office to tell theirs side of the story. And that same man stands in front a nation and lied to our face, but he wont be punished.

But who is even letting Goodell off the hook tho...? He was getting killed by the media as well, there were articles and all kinda **** about him and the NFL. But you guys want the same vilification for a guy who lied vs somebody who...again...beat the **** out of his kid.

I mean, seriously?

no **** CaptainObvious23

but because you've seen way worse then it makes this case okay?

disciplining your kid is okay. abusing is not. AD crossed that line, but based on his upbringing he felt it was. I can't condemn him for that, but I do hope that he gets educated on the subject.

Roger would have a good career in politics

he already does have a good career in politics. It pays about 44 million a year.

roger didn't lose his job. Ray Rice had his contract terminated. AD was indefinitely suspended. Roger got in front of cameras, said he made a mistake, then went on like nothing even happened.

Lol. Stand up for sumn nd don't watch the NFL.

How bout the commish making 44 mil hold himself to the same standard he holds his subordinates to?

Well you as a consumer can change your habits and not support an organization which allows that. Roger and his reign has directly influenced and changed my buying habits. I'm doing my part (as little as it is)

Contact sponsors, stop buying their products, send letters, tweets, and emails. Be the revolution! Down with Roger

the only way Roger will ever lose his job because sponsors start backing away from the NFL

it's not even so much about losing his job, it's about having some shred of accountability. sure he gets scrutinized, but he deserves it. there's no checks and balances in the NFL, which is clearly a problem.

I agree...

when you have a system that takes every thing on a case by case basis rather than having clear guidelines in place; you are just asking for it
