*insert Stafford throwing to trouble coverage cartoon pic*

wut?

w.e don't address a pertinent point.

Yeah nah Calvin wasn't force fed last year, Bush caught balls, as did Bell. After the Trent trade and the McGahee signing it was the JG show.

Man the TNF games are already compromising the quality of the game. Teams are already tired/jet-lagged coming off a short week and now they want to add another week to the season.

Teams are going to be falling apart by the time the playoffs roll around, the playoffs will be nothing but a battle of attrition and the healthier teams will win-out.

The Detroit Lions have thrown the ball more in the last 3 years than any team in NFL history in a 3 year period.

Calvin is only good because of that.

Also Calvin Johnson wasn't dominant until Matt Stafford started playing full seasons.

When Calvin had Josh Gordon level of quarterbacks he wasn't doing what Josh just did.

Stafford ain't great but he's decent and has a cannon.

'Chu mean man? in 07 he ain't start all year, he started 10 games.

In his second year his numbers were comparable to Josh Gordon's sophomore year. He put up less yardage but caught more TDs.

He had a washed up Culpepper and Dan freakin' Orlovsky as his QB's. Please.

Wasn't dominant 'til Stafford,. You clearly missed his 2008 campaign.

Calvin Johnson is one of the most dominating players let alone receivers this game has ever seen! Dude makes catches when he is triple teamed! **** if anyone is seeing triple coverage that should speak for itself...

Calvin is my second favorite athlete of all time.

I've watched every catch he has ever made in his career.

Josh last year was better than Calvin in 2008.

Keep in mind when Calvin was the age Josh Gordon was last year he was at Georgia Tech.

you're entitled to your opinion but I think Calvin was better in his '08 campaign than Gordon was in his '13 campaign. I'm by no means even a Calvin fan, actually not very fond of him at all, but IMO he's the best WR in the game and both AJ Green and Dez are better than Josh Gordon.

So here's a question, since we're talking about wideouts.

Will Julio Jones ever be the same player?

Calvin Johnson the best player in the NFL who isn't a quarterback but Josh Gordon is the 2nd best wide receiver.

It funny to me you are comparing Josh Gordon's 14 game season to Calvin's 16 in 2008
