PJ Hairston says he met Josh Gordon at a grocery store in the Triangle, and they chose to swap cars for the night.

I was never mad at all that Bennett left, I was happy as hell we didn't overpay him. I didn't wanna give some ridiculous contract to an average DE just because we didn't have anything better at the time.

Anyone catch American Muscle last night? It's a show that focuses on Mike Barwis, who is the owner of a gym out in Michigan. He trains everyone from pro athletes to kids. Anyways, Richard Sherman was on the episode (which was shot shortly after the SB, because he was nursing his sprained ankle) and he was asked about Crabtree. Dude HATES him. Something happened off the field between the two which he wouldn't go in to detail about.
Story has been out for a while, it was something along the lines of: they were at a pool party, and Sherm went up to Crabtree to shake his hand and Crabtree brushed him off. Sherm didn't appreciate it. Then there was another incident at Larry Fitzgerald's softball event and Fitz told them to squash it. Then you know what happened at the NFC championship game...

Packers’ net income falls 41 percent

Posted by Mike Wilkening on July 10, 2014, 10:59 PM EDT

The Packers’ net income dipped 41.3 percent in the last fiscal year, according to figures disclosed by the club on Thursday.

According to the club’s website, the team’s net income was $25.3 million, compared to $43.1 million over the same 12-month period a year earlier. (Per the Milwaukee Business Journal, the club’s last fiscal year ended on March 31, 2014.)

This is the first time net income for Green Bay has dipped under $40 million in a fiscal year since 2011. Net income was $42.7 million in 2012.

Spending on players increased by $35 million in fiscal 2013-14, per Packers.com. The club signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers, outside linebacker Clay Matthews and cornerback Sam Shields to new deals in the last fiscal year, with all three players receiving at least $12.5 million in signing bonuses.

Overall, the Packers reported $324.1 million in revenue in the last fiscal year, according to the club’s site. That’s an increase of about $16 million, or 5.2 percent, over the fiscal year ending in March 2013.

NFL teams, for the first time, equally divided more than $6 billion in revenue last season.

That's according to financials released by the Green Bay Packers  on Thursday afternoon.

The Packers said they received $187.7 million in national revenue, which is mostly derived from the league's television rights. The Packers' total represents 3.1 percent, or 1/32nd, of the overall pie.

Mike McGinnis/Getty ImagesFor the first time ever, NFL teams split a revenue pool of $6 billion last season, according to financials released by the Packers.

Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy said the national revenue rose 4.3 percent from last year due in part to new carriage agreements with the NFL Network and additional revenue from Nike, the league's official uniform provider.

The national revenue dollars the Packers and the rest of the league's teams have received continue to climb over the years, with the total pie up 56 percent, factoring for inflation, since 2006.

The most significant jump will happen next season, as new television deals with each of the league's partners, along with the new CBS Thursday Night package, pushes the league's media revenue from the networks alone to an average of more than $5 billion a season.

That doesn't include the league's $1 billion a year contract with DirecTV, which expires at the end of the 2014 season and is currently being renegotiated.

As the only public team, the Packers are required to release revenue numbers, even though their more than 360,000 shareholders hold shares that don't have a resale value and aren't publicly traded.

The Packers' reported local revenue for this past season was $136.3 million, helped along by the new 7,000-seat south end zone, which added $8 million in tickets and concession revenue and $2 million in sponsorship.

Local revenues for the Packers were $136.3 million, up 6.4 percent from last season. Factoring in expenses of $298.5 million, the Packers pulled in a $25.5 million profit, down nearly 53 percent from last season.

Murphy said the main reason for the decline were player costs of $171 million. The team signed big contracts with Aaron RodgersClay MatthewsJulius Peppers  and Sam Shields, parts of which were included in this fiscal year.

Alfred Morris is better than Eddie Lacy. Where's the love?

2900 rushing yards and 20 TD's in 2 years isn't "system RB" stats. The system also doesn't help you break tackles and always fall forward.

Orlandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell, Reuben Droughns, Mike Bell, Selvin Young, and Peyton Hillis never had those stats over 2 years. (Hillis had his best year when he wasn't under Shanny)

Clinton Portis & Terrell Davis definitely benefited from the system but they would have excelled anywhere.
