The takeaway: About one out of four times, a young running quarterback will make a poor decision to scramble or do something to get himself sacked. That is, unless he’s Andrew Luck, who is basically a 10-year veteran in his approach to running with the ball (and treated as such; notice the Colts did not jeopardize his safety with designed run calls). In terms of efficiency, which is crucial to quarterbacking, Luck was clearly the best of this bunch—and that’s just in the running department. Based on what his decision-making revealed in this instance, my guess is he’d be even further ahead of Griffin, Kaepernick, Newton and Wilson if we conducted a passing-game analysis.

peter king, man

i need to read that entire article to get full context...but man at those numbers he gives

Pretty sure he never threw a pick that was his fault either.

Now, the wins on the other hand...

wish you would've posted that in the QB thread. this thread has seen way too many luck > wilson debates

I didnt write the article just posted it, I dont think he is the best running qb in the nfl, lol at everyone blaming me for the article...

Bills DT Marcell Dareus has not been  cleared to practice yet being on the Non-Football Injury list, but he also has not been in attendance each of the past two days at training camp. Head coach Doug Marrone explained why on Monday.

“All the players reported to camp. At the present time I’ve excused Marcell,” said Marrone. “He’s taking care of some personal stuff, but he’ll be like everybody else on the side training getting ready to pass the physical. He’s one of the players that didn’t pass the running test.”

Marrone said Dareus is scheduled to return to camp this evening (Monday).

smh this fat **** I swear if he ruins thus season for me imma hunt him down and murder him. Yes its that serious. .............

I feel like the Bills, Dolphins and Jets are all about even. All above average defenses with somewhat questionable quarterback situations but have some nice offensive pieces around them.

They all basically seem like 7-9 or 8-8 teams....same as last year besides the Bills winning a couple more games.

Ahhhhh the media narratives

[COLOR=#red]don't think everyone did, JJ was the only one to question you directly... that's context though. but it's not a great article from the little I read...

All it's saying is when Luck scrambles he never gets caught and sacked in the backfield.

Colts don't run designed runs like the Panthers, Hawks and Niners... It's an off-season article.

Bills are really in trouble without Kiko and Dareus. Plus losing both starting LTs. Sucks how some franchises have no luck, they deserve a winner.

C'mon EJ.
