If he lives up to his potential, which I believe he will, it's still going to be a very big contract.

Now Dalton, on the other hand... Bengals just better make sure it's weighted to pro bowls or playoff wins and not reg season #s
 
I don't think you dudes realize just how good Kap's contract really is. Cam's current contract over the next 2 years is more than Kaps...

The team can decide to move on from him after any year. Plus there are SB and All-Pro incentives.

My guess would be Dalton wouldn't take a contract as laced with perfomance incentives. Few would honestly though I hope Ben's next extension is :lol:

I mean honestly, what is the justification for 2 games? How do these suits come up with this BS number.

How can a man who is caught on camera dragging his unconscious wife through a popular casino...knowingly beaten a female to that point...get 2 games. But someone who smokes weed gets a year ban.

Law means nothing though to the NFL. Guys are suspended when not even charged. Roger made it clear their conduct policy is independent.
 
When a first time offender gets busted for failing a piss test - due to drugs - he gets 4 games. Ray Rice gets 2...what kind of laws do the NFL go by when coming down with their sanctions? What rule book / guidelines do they follow?

It's like they are playing rock paper scissors for suspensions
