Raiders - 49ers use to play in preseason until all that violence at the Stick in 2011.

People just don't understand it's only a game

Jed York blamed Raider fans when it was Niner fans shooting at people in parking lot :smh:

Watching B-Marsh walking off the field with two broken ribs and a collapsed lung, all i can think about is Marcus Smart being taken off the court in a damn Neck brace + stretcher for a sprained ankle

raider/niners fans > dodger fans when it comes to being violent...

every team has their fair share of idiot fans

usually they are the ones with little else going on in their life

"Dez cam" backfires once again.

Right  ? Let him live already, while he was trying to keep his team's heads up, Beasley, Williams and some of those DBs looked like they had piss running down their legs and fully expecting to lose

Listened to Chuck Klosterman and Bill Simmons' podcast and I started to wonder --

(Preface: This will never happen) What if the NFL threw out the current playoff format and adopted exactly what we see in college football this year?

A committee that releases a NFL Playoff Poll every Tuesday, and it's just like a King of the Hill fight all year long where you're alive and in contention much longer because it doesn't just come down to record, it comes down to the committee's objective AND subjective observations (for example, what is going on between Baylor/TCU right now) until Week 17 and everything stops and you go with the Final Four at that moment. Those four teams in the top-4 play a semifinal round and then the Super Bowl.

So instead of a bunch of teams and team's fanbases checking out in like Week 13 or teams with records only slightly above/around .500 feigning interest because it's just a so-so season, every team is just jockeying to be playing well enough and have enough quality wins up to Week 17 to be one of the four when it freezes and is final.

So instead of your average fan in Buffalo or Miami seeing their team at 7-5 and only scratching and clawing for a Wild Card spot that likely won't result in much more than that, the Buffalo/Miami fan sees their team is building a winning streak and is paying close attention to every development around the league because maybe they can find a way into that top-4 before it freezes and is final. So instead of a chase of the Wild Card and that being a "successful season", they're chasing technically a final 4 aka "conference championship berth" which puts a Super Bowl as a realistic goal.

Don't know if I explained that as well as I could, but let me know. Again, it would never happen, but try to imagine/gauge the interest level league-wide if it did.

I don't think fan interest is the right way to look at it. If owners want fans to stay intrested all season put a good product on the field. At least offer financial incentives when your team is mathematically eliminated. Free meals, parking, something.

Only thing I want to see change is home field advantage. Team with the better record should host. Other than that I'm fine with the current structure. No need to expand though wouldn't be mad if they went to 7 teams per conference and did a play in game.

Let's not forget Dwayne crying real tears and exiting via wheelchair over a dislocated shoulder. [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Nothinf was better than Paul Peirce getting wheel chaired off the court, than running back on 2 minutes later

Wayne insists he is a Colt for life.

"I know what I'm not going to do is go somewhere else and play for one year, two years. Absolutely not. Nobody else. I don't have time to be dipping and dabbing, one year here, maybe one year somewhere else."

Reggie might retire after this year, by far my favorite WR of all time :smokin
