Matt Prater is going to be suspended for the first four games :smh: :smh: :smh:   wtf

He's an idiot for the DUI but 4 games is harsh.

Prater's attorney, Harvey Steinberg, says that Prater was suspended for drinking a few beers at home.

Prater has been in the NFL's alcohol program since August 2011, when he was arrested and charged with DUI. According to Steinberg, the league initially wanted to suspend Prater for an entire season, but that was negotiated down to four games.

Could you imagine if they suspended him for the entire season :smh:

They suspending him over an incident that happened 3 years ago :wow:

Wait...so what does this mean for leveon bell probably? probably wont be suspended until next season tho

He wasn't going to be suspended this season regardless of this incident, it won't be till next year. I was surprised but Ed Bouchette of the Post Gazette laid it out, I can't remember all the details

What exactly did Prater do in 2011 to be on such a short leash for 3 years, was it just a standard DUI? They really wanted to suspend him the entire year for having a few beers inside his house?

Prater was arrested in August 2011 and charged with driving under the influence after a hit-and-run incident outside a local hotel. While he was not suspended then, the arrest made him subject to random tests.

He's in the NFL alcohol program so Im guessing hes supposed to stay sober at all times. He probably drank some beers earlier this year and was randomly tested a short time afterwards.

Yeah idk why Welker wasnt wearing that helmet. I dont even know why he was still in the game. Him and Peyton dont need "extra" reps. Just Sanders.

I didnt know that about Prater. Wow
