I remember the day they drafted Mallett. I was shocked. Several moons later and he's shipped off for nothing.

I'm not sure why, but i believe in Ryan. Cook, my son

i'm with you on this. i feel like he just needs a legit shot

it's a longshot at this point given what he's shown, but i'm rooting for him

Why would Florida hate the jets.. With the amount of retired New Yorkers who have moved down to the sunshine state, jets easily have more fans in Florida than Jacksonville

Tom Savage may not actually exist but he's still better than Ryan Mallet

Pretty Jimmy showed more in one preseason than Mallett had in all of his first four years. Mallett was also surpassed on the depth chart by the rookie. That should tell you everything about him.

On a related note, Mallett was drafted with the pick Minnesota sent to NE for Randy Moss (ended up being the 10th pick in 3rd round of 2011 draft). 4 years later and he gets dealt for a conditional 6th/7th rounder. And Bill hasn't 'eem come close to replacing the unstoppable toss.  

More like he hasn't even came close to TRYING. It's pure insanity to me that the Patriots have done absolutely nothing to improve their receiving core.
