If you knew nothing about Micheal Sam at all, nothing about his personal life, and just watched him play, you'd honestly say he's at least good enough for a practice squad spot on one of the NFL's 32 teams.

Avy bet for tomorrow's game?

Well the Rams are stacked with pass rushers

Versatile pass rushers, at that. Sam is pretty one-dimensional.

Yep. St. Louis is just too loaded at those positions. Just based on their current DEs/LBs, I don't see how he couldn't at least be a second teamer. I think that could apply to at least have the teams in the league.

I don't think anyone wants the media circus that comes with Sam. He's a 7th round pick that gets more attention than the #1 pick

As just a player, sam did enough to be on an nfl roster.. Yes the rams are loaded at that position, which out him in a difficult position with that team

However, any of the other 4-3 teams should have been giving him heavy consideration.. This isn't like tebow where there isn't like tebow were the distraction far outweighs the reward especially since he is adamant about playing QB

As long as sam can get to the QB he is doing his job as a 4-3 end.. A ton of DE have been successful at his size and without the outrageous 40 times.. He doesn't have the speed to play in space or stand up in a 3-4.. But he can play end in the 4-3, hell at the least he can be a situational rusher
