^ me either, and if it is agreed upon they should definitely lift gordons suspension, nfl never wanted to suspend gordon anyway they are basically holding him hostage, once this goes through they will release him from suspension... it's pretty much a guarantee at this point...

I'm all for gay rights etc., but from the outside looking in, you can't tell me that there wasn't something fishy about the way everything went down w/ Sam (and the NFL) from the moment he came out.

Think about it...NFL, for as much money as they make, has an image problem. Concussions, off the field incidents w/ it's players/owners, team names, etc...

Having an openly gay athlete on a roster IS a great story. Especially for the NFL (after all the examples I gave above). If the CBS report is true, then it's kinda hard not to look at the league w/ a stinky eye for trying to pull a fast one. We can cite the Rams depth on the d-line all we want, but the fact that he ends up in Dallas of all places (remember, Jerry wanted Manziel but was talked out of it...so what's the next best thing?) and that there was little-to-no chatter of him signing anywhere else after being cut, really makes me raise an eyebrow as to whether or not Sam is in the league based off of talent OR his story...

I'm still not seeing anything saying they reached a deal though...

not 100% agreement but in the right direction.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports a "tentative agreement" over the use of third-party arbitration for appeals of PED and HGH violations that were not caused by a positive test has been reached.
In other words, Roger Goodell would give up the power to unilaterally rule on suspension appeals related to situations like the BALCO or Biogenesis cases. Though this agreement clears one major hurdle in the negotiation process, the two sides still need to hash out how to deal with players charged with but not convicted of DUIs. Even though obstacles remain, the general feeling is a deal is close, with one source telling Pro Football Talk, "I'm expecting an announcement at any time."

“@BrandonGowton: With Cecil Shorts ruled out against the Eagles, Jags only have 4 healthy WRs. 3 of them are rookies.”

“@BrandonGowton: The 4 Jaguars wide receivers that the Eagles will face on Sunday own a combined 7 starts among them.”

When I seen him get that Arthur Ash award for courage it threw me way off. People are so PS nowadays they're going to far with this "support gay rights" thing. Sam is a nice football player, he not that talented but he plays with a ton of energy. Teams can always use a dude like that. Him signing to the Cowboys might be a good thing cuz he's going to a place that's already a circus so maybe he can blend in.

^ what's gonna happen when Aaron Rodgers admits to liking men...

“@JordanRaanan: Giants official injury report: Odell Beckham, James Brewer, Markus Kuhn are out. Brandon Mosley, Jon Beason, Charles Brown probable. #NFL”

Where did this whole Aaron Rodgers being ghey thing come from on NT? Dude has probably slayed every good looking female broadcaster out there.

that beckham pick has turned to be a major dissapointment so far

should have went TE or CB. although i think DD was off the board. so TE was the pick.

DD?

Dennard?

He went 24th

Ebron was gone by that point.. Should have taken Donald.. Or Martin, one of the safeties, fuller or Dennard

Even worse then. Either way...Beckham was a strange choice. Would have went DD, TE, or G.

The CB position is probably one of our strongest positions no need for Dennard. Ebron was already gone too. I could see Zack Martin, or Donald but I was happy with the Beckham pick.
