Matt Stafford is a solid QB but he's definitely inflating his stats off the strength of Megatron.

You guys hate giving credit lol

Yes, I'm such a jerk for not crediting the QB for throwing off balance, over two defenders, across the field, to a receiver that was not open.

Matt would be the greatest QB in history if that is the basis you want to give credit for for quarterbacking.

All that aside, it was an amazing throw that very few qbs could make which was dudes original point. and yeah Calvin wasn't open but there was no way a defender was getting that. You have to admire the athleticism. The first td was back across his body too lol.

But last night Matt looked mobile, spread the ball around, threw it away when neccessary, and took just the right amount of risk (because when you're throwing to Megatron you should take some ). He played great last night.

No question about it, he played great last night. Absolutely.

And the throw was beautiful. Zero doubt. Perfectly placed.

But credit? No. It was an atrocious decision.

People can't mock Tony Romo throwing the direction he's going, to a man who appears open only to have a great LBer make a great play, then praise Stafford throwing the wrong direction, to a double covered receiver, with momentum going the opposite way.

Both were poor decisions, but with completely different results.

Eli Manning has started 152 games. He's thrown 173 interceptions.

:x

I remember when people consistently put him ahead of Ben and Phillip. Love that he had his two runs but just hasn't had the number of quality years as them IMO

That second touchdown was very impressive by both Stafford and Johnson imo. That camera angle they showed behind stafford when he threw it was perfect. He threw that ball rolling left across his body right where he needed it to be behind the defense and Calvin, but where only Calvin could get it. Great catch, but this was a case where he utilized his great receiver, he didnt depend on him. It was a very Favre like throw. And if it were Favre he would have gotten a ton of credit.

Im well aware what CJ has done for Stafford. But I dont think this was the case. That was an amazing throw by Stafford.

I think Josh Norman is gonna get the assignment for some of the game since he's big and physical problem is he's a knucklehead

Whats funny? You can even see him point right as the entire defense is moving left and he executed. Absolutely one hell of a throw.

you could say matt stafford threw calvin open. not many QBs have the strength to put the ball in the place matt did while rolling the opposite direction.

i do get chester's point though. it's not a "fundamental' throw, and had the result been different we'd talk about the play differently

Does the Scouting report even matter on Megatron it seems like triple teams cant even stop him like how many ppl do you need on him
