NFL Discussion Thread: Pats win SB XLIX. Offseason begins

Do you guys realize the severity of what Greg Hardy did?

I know he's an amazing football player, but no person with a regular job would keep their job with what he did.

It doesn't matter what the job is.

What he did is despicable. Keeping him on the team is only going to be bad for the Carolina owner. Nonstop protests will ensue, everyday.

It's a no brainer.

(I'm not saying I want him cut, he's a great player. I'm just saying... Open your eyes. What he did was worse than rice. If rice doesn't keep his job why would Hardy?)

Richardson lame as hell if they cut Hardy now...but seeing him cry yesterday, I guess I shouldn't be shocked.

chill bro...my heart just dropped reading what you wrote.

whats the news?
Man idk, some news source on twitter were saying they were discussing it and it could be a possibility by 4pm but then a few reliable panther insider's said it won't happen. The rate its going it wouldn't surprise me with MSNBC and other outlets talking about Hardy situation and how he should be suspended. They even had a segment this morning titled Hardy panthers and war on women

Considering Hardy's contract status, it's not that likely they keep him past this year anyways.

Honestly good for them if they do have the guts to cut him for what he did without being forced to by the media first.

Tavon in ain't going anywhere. ****enheimer will go before him. He admitted to not catching on to his ridiculously complicated playbook. Brian Quick is just now starting to flourish. Not every wr tears it up their first few seasons like Moss and Julio

soooooooo why not cut him 3 months ago then? let me hear that excuse...
This is how I feel don't talk about cutting him now since the media has turned to him to be the next whipping boy. But I just wonder when this we'll let due process play its course statement run out from all the media attention

It's crazy how many people are still surprised at how the NFL business works.

They don't do what the need to do, until they really have to do it.

It's nothing new.

We can cry and complain all we want, but you know what?

We'll still all tune in on Sunday to watch regardless.

So what's the point in being so appalled? You won't care on Sunday. And they know it. They'll always win.

No one is saying that the NFL isn't a sheisty operation with it's back room dealings, but using that to justify the piece of **** Hardy is ridiculous. This is not a man that deserves anything...

Hardy, Holder said, flung her from the bed, threw her into a bathtub, then tossed her on a futon covered with rifles. Holder said Hardy ripped a necklace he had given her off her neck, threw it into a toilet and slammed the lid on her arm when she tried to fish it out. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Hardy dragged her by the hair room to room, she said, before putting his hands around her throat. “He looked me in my eyes and he told me he was going to kill me,” said Holder, 24, who said she used to live with Hardy. “I was so scared I wanted to die. When he loosened his grip slightly, I said, ‘Just do it. Kill me.’ ”

Greg Hardy pulled her hair, threw her on a couch full of guns, slammed a toliet seat on her arm, AND choked her too??? In front of his homie?? Sheeeeeesh. But all the media wants to discuss is Raymond though ..

They didnt cut him three months ago, and weren't going to cut him if this Ray Rice thing didnt happen. Morality when it is convenient
Exactly. Now everybody wanna jump on y'all should do the right thing train. They stated Hardy practiced and will play on Sunday but we'll see

Couldn't agree more

No ****.

San Francisco didn't really want Aldon suspended either, but eventually he was.

If they had it their way he'd still be on the field. Clearly football comes first to most organizations.

It's been this way for decades.

You just noticed?

**** Greg Hardy. Drop his wife beating ***, throw him in jail, and don't let him play Football ever again
