NFL Discussion Thread: Pats win SB XLIX. Offseason begins

It's crazy how many people are still surprised at how the NFL business works.

They don't do what the need to do, until they really have to do it.

It's nothing new.

We can cry and complain all we want, but you know what?

We'll still all tune in on Sunday to watch regardless.

So what's the point in being so appalled? You won't care on Sunday. And they know it. They'll always win.
We can stop buying NFL products, like jerseys and stuff.  At least stop buying those stupid pink breast cancer accessories.

I just don't like the fact everyone wants to jump on their moral horse when it's to their benefit .

What hardy did was just as mad 3 months ago as it was today.

But whatever, money talks.

None of us like it.

My only point is, people are just noticing how this all works with NFL teams?

It's not new.
Teams want their best players out there until they absolutely have to cut ties with them.

Look at LeVeon and Blount... No suspensions, no benching, no punishment what so ever.

Sure you can say "it was just weed."
They still broke the law.

Did the steelers care?
They "were upset" in press conferences.
But what actions were taken?

None.

That speaks louder.

No one cares about morality until they're trapped in a corner and they have no other choice but to "act morally correct."

It's sad. It's pathetic.
But it's how it is. It's how it's been.

Its really not our place too judge another man as long as he does his job on sunday. And the latter part of that statement is what some people are getting at. It is what it is, regardless of what happened he was convicted by a female judge who has a track record of looking at one side. And any way you slice it the possibility of him getting a fair jury trail won't happen. All of these cases are wrong but it's something that won't stop till the next big story rolls around

Don't proceeds go to Komen for that? If do shouldn't that be the only NFL product people do buy (and a Terrible Towel which is 100% charitable)

If you can kill a man and come back to play, you should be able to come back from doing anything else; except intentionally harming a child.

**** it being an accident, if you were drunk while it happened that's a major crime.

Football talk only starting on the next page please. This DV **** getting old in here.
