Revis' presence alone makes the Pats D 100x better

He did get cooked by Wallace a couple times. Mike Wallace is one of the fastest dudes in the L

I dont know about yesterday, but the Raiders never got the ball into the endzone, so I'd say its a job well done

The Patriots offense on the other hand; straight cakes
 
Stay in denial? I've seen them all get burnt. Sherman has been burnt in both games that they threw at him. You acting like I said Sherman wouldn't crack the top 20 CB's in the league. I'm just not on his nuts like you. If someone isn't slurping Russell Wilson or Richard Sherman, you will come rescue them. We know, we know, we know.

The thing is, you're saying Sherman got "burnt", and unless getting burned = 4 completions in 3 games for 43 yards than I have to disagree. Kennan Allen got him for 31 yards, and Manning + Denver's WR's got him for 12 yards. How is that getting burned? Because if that is it, I'll take it every day of the week and twice on sundays. He's not unbeatable, because every CB will get beat, but he's definitely not getting "barbecued".

Teams gonna learn to stop drafting college QBs so high in the draft anyway.

Unless they're consensus Luck status, i wouldnt draft a QB that high.

That pick can literally set your frachise back a decade.
 
Sherman hasn't gotten "barbecued" yet this season. I do agree that his secondary makes him look amazing, because those guys swarm the ball and don't allow the receiver to get any yards after the catch.

And Revis is a shell of his former self. He hasn't been the same guys since he's left NY 2-3 years ago. It all went down hill after Moss burned him and he pulled his hamstring.

If there's anyone who makes the Pats defense better it's Jones.

Sherman hasn't been barbecued on any plays this year? I've seen him get left behind on a couple plays. I understand it happens to everyone but he runs his mouth like it doesn't happen to him. He wanted all the attention and he's gonna get it.

Are you talking about that Keenan Allen play? I don't consider that getting "barbecued". Sure, guys caught some balls, but he hasn't gotten "barbecued" to the point where someone took it to the house on him.

Can Greg Olson open the playbook up before he gets fired. Trying to run DMC up the middle when it wasn't working was really Annoying

Serious questions, what players/teams in your mind aren't overrated and/or suck?

I'd like to see a list.

A shell of his former self may be a stretch . Lets give it a few more weeks

IMO him being on the team and working with the younger d-backs has really upped their confidence. Arrington, RYan , Butler, Dennard, etc are all benefiting from having one of the GOATs in the locker room. In the past, Patriots secondary would get shredded every single game, no matter the opponent. It's refreshing to see them be able to at least hold bum (Cassel) and rookie QB's to minimal points for once.

Jones is going to have a monster year

Pats defense overall has looked good.

Which is good, because the offense hasn't looked all that great.

This made me laugh.

I might be more negative than most of y'all but I'm negative about my team as well, unlike a lot of you.

Revis is struggling to get back to his prime and he might not ever get there.

Eli gets bashed on here and I enjoy it. I don't defend his INTs or stupid decisions. The only thing you will ever hear me defend Eli is when people call his two SB wins "lucky"
