Why you keep just making up arbitrary spans of games played to judge him by?
laugh.gif

Ay dog hes 52-19 in his games between 2009 and the end of 2013!!!

im just pointing out his last 16 games, he didnt play a full season last year so im taking his last 16, why you getting so emotional bro i never said he was a bum or anything, just said he isnt the best in the league today...
My only beef with your opinion was that it was based on some arbitrary **** like record in last x amount of games played.

IDC if someone thinks hes the best in the league or not, but you just coming out of the blue with no reasoning other than the Pack is .500 in his last 16.

I just said your "points through 3 quarters" stat is mad stupid

The Peyton Manning Denver Bronco record setting offense being held to 3 points for 45 minutes, is stupid?

When it is the first time it has happened in over 2 years? A major, major point to the toughness of Seattle's defense, which for some reason Seattle fans want to dismiss, so they can prop up Russ?

Whatever dude.

The reason you're one of the worst posters on this forum isn't because you don't like Russell Wilson, it's because instead of carrying conversational threads and posting rebuttals and answers that make sense, you just jump around saying random junk with your fingers in your ears.

I'll at least make an attempt to answer what you're saying before you pretend you and I were both saying something different.  I never said anything negative about the defense.  The defense played great.  Seattle is a great team because the defense is great.  The number of points Denver had through three quarters is not relevant to Russell Wilson's performance.  Because Denver scored 20 points and the Seahawks needed 26 points to win the game, Russell Wilson's performance was necessary for them to win the game.  Many different parts of a football team contribute simultaneously to a team's victory.

Is that simple/clear enough?  I'm waiting for your own off-the-wall intepretation of what I just said.

Russel Wilson argument between CP and 10027?

View media item 1102309

Naw, I don't have time for another one. Russ is a great young QB, I have no issue with the kid at all.

But him getting praise for "beating" these other QB's is laughable when I can watch the game and see opposing defenses STIFLED at every turn, and he just casually runs the O, hands off to Lynch, makes 2-3 great throws a game, and takes a shower. But these guys will ignore their own defense, to praise Russ like he's a religion, and I just don't get it.

They SHOULD be praising that defense, that's what they should put their effort into. Not caping Russ like the next broad in line.

I brought up the 3 points to counter the illustration the article made that RUSS, had defeated Peyton, Brady, Brees, and Rodgers.

RUSS, did not beat those QB's, me pointing out the 3 in 3 quarters, and Saints scoreless thru 3, was a perfect example of those things. So that was not be "jumping around" that was me countering the articles point. Clearly.

Russ is an above average quarterback, not elite. I don't think anyone would argue that. I think the argument starts when people try propping Russ into that elite category because "he's beat the other elite QBs." Seems unfair to the team's defense.

You must be one of the worst posters on this forum too.

True point.

"QBs don't play the game against other QBs"—Another true point.

"Broncos had 3 points through 3 quarters"—Dumb point

DSA + DSK (holy ****, I just now realized the initials after 10 years...) -- what's the deal with Vareen? Is it just the fact that NE can't run the ball in general, injuries, or what?

I expected dude to come out like Danny Woodhead this year and catch like 70-80 balls.
We haven't really seen too many swing passes to Vareen. I agree, they should be running and connecting on that much more. Instead we're getting the usual telegraphed *** Patriot screen plays that defenses sniff out.

And when they do run something for Vareen out of the backfield...there is usually poor execution on someone's part. Whether it's Brady overthrowing because he expects Shane to be at a certain spot or Vareen not looking up in time. From what I remember, they ran one swing pass to Vareen in the Oakland game and he dropped the pass.

Brady just isn't comfortable with these group of guys. He's in sync with Edelman and that's it. Gronk is coming off the ACL tear and didn't play a single snap in the preseason so I think he needs more time to catch up to speed because he's not the same player right now. It might even take him all of the regular season to get there.

Is Brady in decline? Yes. IMO it's been a bit exaggerated though. He's not THIS bad. The problems really start with this team's atrocious o-line. Easily a bottom five group in the league right now which is ******g pathetic when you consider the circumstances.

I kid you not...the Patriots' current o-line coach was a SPORTS RADIO HOST last year. The players don't **** with him.

Here's the bio of the 26 year old rookie scrub they tabbed to replace Logan Mankins...
Did not play football in high school after suffering from Osgood-Schlatters while playing football in junior high ... Played the tuba as a member of the American Fork High School band ... Turned down multiple music scholarships to serve an LDS church mission after graduating from high school ... Played baseball for the Cavemen ... Knee condition subsided and became a stellar offensive lineman at Snow College.
Yes, this is real.
mean.gif
They traded away their best lineman and replaced him with a Mormon tuba player with a knee condition that came out of something called Snow College.

@Mr Marcus  already alluded to it, but the combo of Kraft being a cheap *** and Belichick doing it THE PATRIOT WAY is a major part of this team's success as a juggernaut...and failures in the postseason.

Man, I've been loading up the yoppa on Bill as a GM for some time now. A couple more underwhelming performances these next few games and I'm letting that ***** sing.

Yall dudes take the bait so damn easily
I doubt there is a single Hawks fan in here who thinks RW is the best QB in the whole league

No surprise CP is the loudest one to respond though

I didn't realize that illustrating how well the defense plays was dumb points. How do I sleep at night?

Seattle fans.

I think it was more the fact that you think a game ends after 3 quarters.

Not sure if you pretend to miss the point so often or really just fail to see it.

Whoever said that this is just regurgitation of Cowherd was correct. I heard him say it a couple times this morning. And another show touched on it last night too. It's a stupid point, regardless of who is bringing it up. It is literally picking an arbitrary starting and ending point and tossing it to the wolves to pick apart.

Lol the Pats are like 150 - 50 since 2001. Yeah Bill sucks as a GM

And how do you know the players dont like the new o-line coach? Not saying its not true, but i havent heard this

Yes, because that's what I said. That games are over after 3, I said that. You got me, well done.

I didn't have the safety, or the Russ INT in the 4th lined up as an example of how the Broncos got back into the game, which was not a fault of Seattles defense, nope, I didn't have that. Not at all.

But hey, you got me.

Russell did work that last drive. Truly carried the team down the field for the W. To me, that's all the matters. Russell is really really good and those in the NFL circles know it. That's validation enough.

Hey look I almost pushed you in the direction of saying something that makes sense.  You're still wrong, but you almost made a legitimate point.

Of course the defense allowed the game tying touchdown, and Wilson threw the 40 yard bomb to Lockette and led the OT drive to win the game, but what do I know?  It's not like multiple players contribute in different ways to failure/victory in a football game.

So at the end of the day....

Russ is good
Seattle defense is elite
Tom Brady is old
Kraft is cheap
The Packers record isn't as good as it used to be

That's been the last 3 pages
