Please don't bring up RGknee anymore for any reason. This ain't the Paralympics we're talking about or 2012
But Baylor gave him a statute

In this case, I would've rather have Weeden out there over our franchise QB. Reason being, Romo wasn't going to get the ball down the field, period. As soon as he came back in I knew the game was over, you could see the agony in his face and you knew his back wouldn't allow him to make the right throws. Keep Weeden in and we have a chance to get down the field and possible try for the game winner in regulation. Bringing a guy who's one hit away from a wheelchair back into the game on a drive starting from your own 3 was very risky. I thought Merriweather was going to end Romo's career on that safety blitz

he did Tony a favor, send that man some of your bonus money because that could've have been UGLY.
this all of this..

romo just didn't look right.. and with the way the Washington professional football team was able to get to romo before that hit, he didn't have a chance in hell after when he was clearly hindered.. it was admirable that he wanted to come back so badly, but you have to realize when it's just not in the best interest of the team

coincidentally, they were playing a team that suffered a playoff loss with rg3 trying to do the same thing.. garrett needed to step up and take charge, but jerry had already 'reported' that romo was going back in

I've always thought the Browns were a good team but always missing that link that'll make them contenders.

That link is right under their noses...

Johnny F'ing Football

Free him and let him cook.

And that's a fair criticism. Weeden looked pretty capable. I'm just dismissing the notion that this is Jerry Jones fault because he came and stood on the sideline abd talked to people. He had nothing to do with the Cowboys not being able to pick up the blitz
Folks are blaming Jerry cause it seems like it was his call to go with Romo. Weeden had just led you on 2 scoring drives which totaled more points than Romo had put up all game. Then you go back to hurt Romo who was already playing poorly before the hit. If Jerry did make that call, he is responsible for taking away yalls best chance at the win.

Still you cop a new whip yet?
Miss that évoque? :nerd:

don't miss the Evoque one bit besides the handful of times it plowed through snow like a champ

Still haven't copped anything but I have my BRZ; I might try it for a winter and wait for the Audi A5/S5's dropping next year

KKKooper a draft pick would be a nice steal for the birds; hell I would give up a 3rd, V Jax still got 2-3 good years in him I would think
graham and kkkooper for v jax and goldson.. maybe have to throw in a later round pick or a conditional pick

as long as the guaranteed money isn't too bad, we should be good since we should have a ton of cap space still

Jason Garrett continues to be nothing more than a push-over puppet of a head coach.

I think he holds that team back a lot more than people realize.

He puts Romo in positions to fail constantly.

I think Goldson's contract is pretty rough which scares me

White S5 would eliminate all jokes from NT'ers. Too sick :smokin

White would def be my top choice; I saw a dude with an RS5 at Whole Foods last week; good lord :smokin

Honestly, sitting at 6-1 and on the last year of his deal, he had a chance to solidify is head coaching position by telling Jerry to get the hell outta here when he came over to tell him Romo was coming back. What was Jerry going to do? Fire him on the spot? Please. The whole team/staff would've rallied around him had he made the call to stick with Weeden but instead he got chumped, as usual :rolleyes

That was all Jerry's decision, yes Romo played a part in pushing the issue but Jerry made the ultimate decision trying to pull the ol' "see why we didn't draft Johnny Football" move :smh:
