I haven't seen one throw of his so I can't comment. I just found it odd you were seemingly going by stats and rankings (while rejecting the eye test), yet now seem to be dismissing stats since they can be skewed and don't always tell the story. Wasn't sure what was going on, I feel lost :lol:

A simple, pointless thing, like compare stats. After 7 games. Great. Different seasons, different teams, different expectations, but let's compare the stats on paper.

Heaven forbid we compare Carr's stats to Andy Dalton. Or Joe Flacco, or Matt Schaub, or even Carson Palmer.

Average QB's, average ceilings.

No, we'll just make any ol stat comparison, to Andrew Luck.

Like Chester said, why stop there? Why not go Brady, Brees, Peyton? Let's go all the way if we're gonna "just compare stats"

Throw in some Joe Montana stats, maybe John Elway. Derek Carr's first 7 games, Johnny Unitas's first 7 games, let's do this. :pimp:


Somebody get me Teddy Bridgewater's first 5 career games, and Steve Youngs. Let's look at it.

If Teddy was killing like you guys thought he would, I'm sure those stats would be compared. But I digress...

Keep acting like your boy is untouchable tho, I never once compared him to Derek Carr cause I really couldn't give two *****. But it's funny how you have Raiders fans in here who watch every single game arguing with dudes who already have their preconceived notions about him, only saying that Carr has played well considering the circumstances and that he has a bright future. That's it.

But he's not Andrew Luck tho :lol:

...this ladies and gentlemen is why my Dallas Cowboys will never go anywhere until Jerry is no longer the owner |I. Dude ain't even fazed cause he knows Jerry is gonna get his dumb *** off easy. He ain't gonna get cut, he ain't gonna lose much playing time, and his fine will be $5.

You don't think this happens on the field, in practice, and in games (See Romo coming back in). Jerry treats these dudes like a overprotective daddy and then wonders why they play soft on Sunday :smh: ...Damn shame
