All this ooohing and ahhhing over the Packers and they got washed by the Saitns.

They beat up a team that gave up 50+ points the week before so its not like they broke the mold.

"But but but but nobody wins in New Orleans" except the team they played the following week and was a .500 team.

Aaron Rodgers is a beast but Green Bay still hasn't beaten a team with a winning record. They have lost to every team they have played with a winning record by double digits.

Dolphins?

Repped. :pimp:

and honestly there's different circumstances. saints faced a Niners team that were playing for their lives.

packers played a saints team that were playing for their lives the week before. played Seahawks on championship ceremony day. lions are lions. not scared of any of these teams come playoffs. I think Packers can beat all of them.

lions fans feelin pretty confident, as y'all should. but none of wins impress me aside from the win against the packer

Can anyone tell me where i can watch the Randy Moss 30 for 30 I missed it last night

any help is appreciated

I liked the Moss 30f30, dude seems humble and pretty grounded. I also agree about having a second one, that would be awesome to get insight in his NFL days. Anyway another good one, no surprise really. ESPN lets 'outsiders' do stories they are passionate about and free from the spin and they turn out great

Dolphins is another team I just can't figure them out. Can't ever bet on them or the Titans
My two AFC wildcards leading into the season. Tennessee and Whis letting me down. Flirted with the idea of Cleveland, but worried about their offensive output and lack of weapons.

Lions got wash by a pretty bad Panthers team.

Lost to Kyle Orton at home in his first start.

Were getting washed by a bad falcons team, and had it not been that the falcons are so bad would've lost.

Have a 1 point victory over the saints.

These next 2 weeks should be a solid test for the lions.

Going to Zona and going to NE.
Caldwell would be thrilled with a split, Detroit may realistically lose both.

The Saitns washed the Packers though. 1 point, a half point it's doesn't matter we won.

The Lions were in a one possession game late into the 4th in Carolina. That's with 3 missed field goals and two back to back fumbles on special teams.

The Bills game same thing.

If the Lions only had the worst field goal kicker in league and not the worst field goal kicker in NFL history through 5 games they are 8-1. Possibly 9-0.

Also no one has said the Lions are great but the Packers are this juggernaut because they put up the same points Pittsburgh did vs the Bears.

Doesn't make sense to me.

The thought of Lions at 9-0

Probably woulda been the least intimidating 9-0 team ever.

Lions record of the teams they've beaten.

27-37

They've only beaten 2 teams with a winning record.

The packers (6-3) and the Phins(5-4)

Everyone else they've beaten is a combined 16-30.

I'm trying to figure out why you keep bringing up the Lions concerning a discussion about the Packers?

Especially when no one in the media or myself has made any proclamations about them.

Because I know your chest is puffed because the lions are 7-2 and beat the packers.

Your bringing up the packers because everyone is talking about them and no one is talking about the lions.

Just giving an unbiased view on things.

And the reason people bring up the packers is cause of AR-12.

Yes, the lions beat them, but majority would still take the packers over the lions cause of that man.

Its the Lions. The defense is the best in football and Calvin Johnson is Calvin Johnson after that I don't bet on anything.

But since you brought it up I'd also like to point out the Lions are doing this with the most games missed from starters in the NFL :smokin

Lions won't get respect until they make the playoffs and win a game; that's really why no one is talking about them

All this hand wringing is kinda pointless but what else are we going to talk about?

The games will be played and we will see whose really good and whose not. Its why we love the NFL.

I just didn't understand how a majority of the national media proclaimed the Packers not only the team to beat in the NFC North but the entire conference after washing the Bears.

That ain't exactly a difficult thing to do nowadays.
