I was just refuting the point about the courts ruling as if that would affect the NFL. They've been hypocritical for years

good lawyers already have made a name for themselves. if they haven't made that name, there's no way they are gonna be able to go against the best lawyers the nfl can buy..

dude won't be sued.  people are gonna forget this comical series of ****ups by Goodell in a year or two

Can't cosign Adrian Peterson's actions, but it seems like the NFL bases its suspensions off of how much publicity a case gets and how upset the public is.

 

Everyone can agree that AD was wrong for od ing with the whipping. Dude should probably just miss the rest of the season but going to prison is crazy.

End of the day, alot of these situations can be avoided though if the players don't put themselves in sketchy situations to begin with.

I guarantee you at least 1 NFL player will catch some type of assault charge during the offseason, another will catch a domestic violence case despite knowing that's a no go in today's NFL, and a few others will get dui's

Hell some of this might happen before the season ends but alot of situations legal wise that players get into are self inflicted.
