forgot all about that blackface thing.....wish someone in the media scolded her for her "joke"

Stephen A was pretty clear with what he said on First Take. He wasn't even defending Ray Rice. He just brought up a different side that people don't wanna talk about.

What he said was wrong though. There's a difference between saying men and women shouldn't put their hands on each other and saying if a man hit you it was probably because you provoked him.

Blaming the victim for being victimized is not a good look at all.

 Thats not what he said.

He clearly said it plenty of times during that segment that a man should never hit a women AND he also said a women shouldn't do the same. He never said women are to blame.

exactly, the circumstances are obvious, women shouldnt provoke on the idea that they will get a free pass.

guys shouldnt fall into the trap, and should be the gentlemen and let justice handle it.

thayt all he said.

if not, get them together in a ring and just fight it out.

I never said he said that you see quotes anywhere? It's a inference

He victim blamed and tried to gloss over it. Saying provocation is the reason for the abuse is victim blaming.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 8m
Basically, the #Bucs and G Carl Nicks reached a settlement and that led to his release. Couldn’t get where he wanted physically

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 13m
Former #Bucs G Carl Nicks: “After careful consideration, I have made the decision to step away from the game.”

Again, he never anything close to that. It's clear as day. You just hearing what you wanna hear.

What a mess.

I'm still disgusted with the NFL about this pathetic suspension. I love the game of football a lot, but these owners, Goodell and the like are ruining a great game with all the bs.

I seriously just lost a lot of respect for Michelle Beadle.

I completely understood what Stephen A. Was saying this morning. It's MIND BLOWING and BAPHELING that Beadle couldn't correctly comprehend what Stephen A. Was saying.

He has never, ever said if you provoke it's okay to get hit. Ever.

He was just saying stop provoking. Both sides. But also never hit the women, ever.

Makes me serious sick to see how she twisted it :smh:

:smh: :smh:, he knew he couldn't play no more and dragged it to training camp. Time to strip my Nicks jersey now. Alex Boone [emoji]128064[/emoji][emoji]128064[/emoji][emoji]128064[/emoji]

Only thing Flacco connecting with is the back of the end zone where none of his players will be
You are wrong sir, you will find out in a few weeks

It wasn't blackface though, she was wearing a mask like many women wear to clean their face.
I'm not here to accuse or to defend but just how she REACHED w/ Stephen A someone could've REACHED about this

cleaning mask or not who knows what her intentions were ...personally don't care just saying it could've been taken as offensive even if it was a joke

Speaking on the subject of abuse and saying provocation needs to be prevented isn't anything close to that  ok

Carl Nicks was gigantic last time I saw him about a month ago. Literally looked like he was about 400 pounds. Sucks we only got like five games out of him as a Buc.

I don't think that face cream or whatever the hell she had on was a problem but I do see Marcus point.

So saying a women shouldn't hit a man is the same as blaming a women for being abused? FOH

Couldn't agree more. I think her having been raped before definitely struck a chord within her, && thus her highly inaccurate interpretation of Stephen A.'s comments. The calling out without even asking SAS as a fellow professional && colleague was beyond classless also...just disgusting. :smh:

Your reaching.  You must not been around the yambs that much because a lot of women wear masks for their face and like to take selfies for attention

I think some women think it's okay to physically assault men and there will never be any consequences because they are women

That's why domestic violence is hard because I don't think all these dudes set out to hit women sometimes I think the woman is physical with them first

It wrong for both men and women to hit each other that's what Stephen A was saying
