Im saying  Whipped out the boost mobile phone to try and prove a point. Couldn't even take a screenshot?

Naw dude was just in his feelings and took a bad picture.

The truth of the matter is what PP does is more difficult, higher risk and more rare than what Sherm does.

It's why PP and Joe Haden will get more guaranteed money.

Are we still discussing our teams? If so im happy to add nicks, d'qwell jackson and moncrief.

The only thing Gates has on Gonzalez is athleticism. Better TE, nope.

Im also taking josh gordon or b marsh over dez.

Truth of the matter is Peterson isn't even that good in coverage.

It's "higher risk" though.

Being drafted high will get you the benefit of the doubt for life.

As dude on Twitter said, "Id rather have Richard Sherman lock down half the field than Patrick Peterson inconsistently cover all of it." He isn't even in the same class.

Maybe Peterson should ask his coach to put him in a position where he can actually be elite, if he can't handle what he's doing right now.

I think it's funny that you're starting to see more CBs and NFL players speak out against Sherman. His whole act is getting old quick.

Seriously, is anyone outside of Seattle gonna disagree with PP?

That's what we call "being salty".

And yes, Football Outsiders/Pro Football Focus score Haden & Peterson far behind Sherman and Revis.

But clearly when you play on an actually great defense, everyone on that defense is just a system player and not that good.

If you want to be a really great player the guys you play next to need to be mediocre /s

Sherman's "act"?

P2 started it....

Doesn't matter who started it. Sherman always has to complain or tweet. Blount said Talib was the best CB and Sherman sends a bunch of tweets of complaining.

I've said it mad times, I think he's good but he plays a zone. Doesn't do what the other great CBs do. Doesn't stay with the #1 WR throughout the game and doesn't play the whole field. Can't be #1 with limitations.

Sherman not tracking WR's has more to do w/ the scheme as opposed to an inability to do so. PP has the talent to be the best CB in the league @ some point but neither him nor Haden are there just yet

I don't know anyone recently who had the responsibility that Revis had w/ the Jets. Whole scheme built around his ability

Revis' DPOY season on the Jets was one of the best seasons a CB has ever had.

I honestly don't care who's a "true lockdown corner" and who's not, and this argument is getting extremely tired. Sherman is a great corner, who made a game saving play in the playoffs, who's team then went on to win it all.

He also had a Hell of a season, and has been consistently good since he's been in the league.

These CBs lashing out at him just seem salty at this point.

I'll take Sherman "Only covering half the field" and my team winning it all, over PPs so called "lockdown" ability that hadn't resulted in much (yet).

I don't think anyone is saying Sherman can't do it but to be fair, we don't know if he can do it. He hasn't done it. Their defensive scheme limits his play so it's absurd when fans call him the best CB.

PP is very talented, I think his coverage will improve tremendously over the next two seasons.

Revis is still the best CB I've seen since Deion and Sherm isn't even close.

Sherman hasn't had a year as good as Revis' best Jets season, but Revis certainly hasn't either since leaving New Jersey.   There's no guarantee he's going to come in and be dominant for the Pats next season.  Because it's the Pats, I certainly hope he isn't.

But you're talking about one season and he had a good season, just didn't have a "Revis" season.
