Eli gets clowned alot for his dumb faces. yes he throws INT's but a lot are not his fault. I wish there was a stat for tipped INT's kept bc I swear Eli is the one who gets killed from them the most year after year.

man i still remember that INT from last year where he overthrew myers the TE who was up off the ground and had his arms outstretched. the ball still went over his finger tips. and guess who got the blame? myers, not eli

The game against Chicago? I give Myers the blame for that one. Ball was a little high but it was catchable. If he makes that catch, we win the game. You gotta bring that **** in. I was pissed.

All the gifs

3/5 of those GIFs have Reuben Randle in them.....

Hahahaha Hahahaha it would have been a top play of the week catch if he pulled that in. it was in no way an easy play. myers is myers...he's not gronk or jimmy, both of who would haul that in likely. if i remember correctly, there wasn't even a need to throw it down field like that it. but myers was open so i get the decision to try and hit him. but myers had no shot at that. you can blame myers a bit maybe, but the majority of that is on the overthrow. myers didn't even get a finger on it (i think?)

To piggy back off that INT discussion, I've always believed that any ball that hits a receiver's hands but is dropped for an INT should not count towards the QB.

It should be a negative stat against the WR. Just my opinion though...

Throwing off your back while falling back, throwing into triple coverage, often using bad mechanics, etc... is creating your own bad luck. Sure they're were some miscommunications between receivers but throwing high risk passes for high rewards in order to compensate for a lack of intermediate accuracy and awareness has been consistent.

What about the one where he punted to the Kansas City safety?

Was that on Randle, too?

Eli deserves blame. I saw a stat at week 10 that said Randle was responsible for 8 INTs due to him running the wrong route.

I don't think it was that high. We were moving the ball and time was ticking. It could have been a little lower but you gotta make that play with the game on the line. Either way, Myers was worthless all season long. I'm happy he's gone.

First snap of the season

I laughed when this **** happened. Felt like we never recovered after this game. Season was downhill from there.

Look, man, every QB has to live with INTs that are caused by the receiver: just a way of life at the position. The fact that we expect receivers to contort their bodies and grab these overthrown balls tells you just how much slack we give QBs. I mean, how often do you see Thomas, Aaron, Drew, or Peyton throw a pick... and the analyst covering the game immediately tries to find an excuse?

You can't deny that Eli does some absolutely dumb **** with the football.

I don't think anyone in here would argue that Eli does dumb ****. We all know he does dumb ****, then makes that classic facial expression.

Sometimes it feels like Eli knows he got his rings and just doesn't give an F anymore. Just heaves the ball, tries to make the impossible play, doesn't feel like taking the safe way out, etc. Kinda makes me like him
