View media item 1285795This is Candlestick Park now before it's going to be torn down. All the history that happened on that field

seeing stuff like this makes me sad; when they tore down the Spectrum in Philly it was so sad

I saw a million Flyers and Sixers games there along with Summerslam 90, Disney on Ice, etc. it was part of me

even played hockey championships there which was so cool as a teenager

If I had a vote, it would go to Mr. Watt. MVDPOY.

But...I don't, and Aaron Rodgers is pretty much guaranteed the MVP award after this past Sunday. Well deserved for the best QB on the planet.

Gronk Lesnar = comeback player of the year.

By that definition a QB should basically win every year (which they do). I like the best player in the league winning it, then all positions have a shot

I agree with this. The award is disingenuous.

They might as well have 2 separate awards: the best QB & the best non QB.

If Watt misses the entire year, Houston is still not making the playoffs and they probably have one or two more losses.

If AR misses the entire year, GB is probably a 4-5 win team this year.

It's that simple. Watt has been a freak and has had one of the best seasons I've seen a DE have in years but he's not the MVP.

MVP has pretty much been a QB award. Yeah I know other positions have won it. Buts lets be realist here. It's a QB award.

Only way watt wins a MVP is when his team wins the super bowl and he gets Super Bowl MVP. but not league MVP.

Rodgers easily wins the MVP right now..

and looking at the packers remaining schedule (along with the other contenders for the no. 1 seed in the NFC), the packers are extremely likely to get that first seed and probably not lose a game the remainder of the year (they play falcons, @ bills, @ bucs and lions)

Bears going to beat the cowboys? :nerd:

I've been preparing for this slide since Week 7  watching Sanchez/McCoy literally walk it down the field without breaking a sweat those first two drives makes me nervous about what Cutler/Forte can do with those two stud WR's against their secondary.
