@ChicagoBears: Trestman: "This is performance-based only. We're not getting enough out of our quarterback."

our offense this year has suffered because of the ineptitude of our QBs.. and kinda hard to judge if Mathews is really being locked up when the ball is getting forced into bad spots instead of looking for the guy who comes open through the process of the offense (which is it's ultimate point, you cant cover everyone)

for example this play in the seattle game, where sanchez tried to force it into cooper (and it was picked):

You can post a gif or 30 with every wide receiver in the league getting open and a quarterback missing him.

as someone who has watched every eagles game this year.. maclin, ertz and Mathews are the players who suffered the most from what was going on with our QBs

man coverage isn't Mathews issue.. drops is a bigger issue for him (but anywhere near as much of an issue as it is for Benjamin)

Just reading the post it appeared you were just saying the guy isn't good in general, not just in reference to the list of players that were given

Bears are a disastor

That's what I took out of it and he clearly beats man coverage

Man is anyone else watching this Jay Cutler interview?

Man I really think dude doesn't care. He seems like a he's in a good mood about all this.

Yup, its the same demeanor he gives off on the sideline it seems too regardless of whats happening in the game. Dude clearly isn't a leader.

I don't personally care for Cutler, but that's such a pathetic argument to use. What does his demeanor have anything to do with him being a leader?

Demeanor is definitely a variable in being a leader. What it doesn't affect is his play and ability as a football player

Has Vick ever said he was a Skins fan in the past? I don't think I've ever heard him talk about them before. Must be hoping for work next year so he's trying to sell the "home" aspect. I don't know many people in VA Beach, Newport News or anywhere around there that are Skins fans or call anything around here home.
Believe the Skins were one of, if not the first team Vick's camp contacted when he was released from prison. Don't know if it was a hometown thing or the fact he desperately needed a job and Campbell wasn't cutting it.

eli is a good leader

dalton meh prob not

cutlets, dude is who he is. son is content counting his money, banging kristin and now not worrying about being hit.

Point is none of Cutler's teammates have ever really complained about Jay, and a lot of them (Brandon Marshall) seem to love him.  The media hates his demeanor, not his teammates or his coaches.

His play has been fairly putrid this season, however.
