There is not one QB that is head-and-shoulders above everyone else this year (stats or record-wise). Hopefully the Rodgers/Romo/Brady/Manning/Murray/Lynch voters will spread their votes too thin and JJ will sneak in and grab it. :nerd:

really? looking at all the NFL threads this past week, I would have thought Romo had the best season of any QB ever

shaky

The fact that a non QB had to have a out of body experience of a season just to be in the conversation further tell us how flawed the award is.

And not just Watt this season, AD had to threaten to break Eric Dickerson's rushing record to win it, Tomlinson had to break the total TDs record to get it, Shaun Alexander the same.

@RavensInsider: Justin Forsett bought 55-inch televisions for every starting offensive linemen and Owen Daniels. Justin makes vet. minimum. Classy move

Good guy Forsett :smokin

I want Watt to win because he's deserving and I don't want to see another QB/RB win it.

I wouldn't got that far. I just people to give credit to other positions. By default QB is the most important position but a lot of people act like QB's are the only dudes that work hard and stay in the film room and everybody else is just there. Watt has always been in my top 3. When the Jets were good I thought Revis shoulda got some love, not win it but at least in the talks. One man takes away a whole side of the field, that ain't valuable?

Soooo... if the Texans somehow manage to get to 9 wins and the playoffs with their 4th string QB... does JJ Watt get the MVP? :nerd:

72 tackles, 17.5 sacks, 5 TDs (2 defensive, 3 offensive), 1 INT, 10 PD, 3 FF, 5 FR, 10 stuffs, 50 QB hurries, and 43 QB hits.

- Am I the only one not impressed by Watt's offensive TDs? I always thought it was dumb as hell to have defensive players randomly line up and run a route.
- I got Aaron Rodgers at #1 and Watt at #2 in the MVP rankings.
- I think it's cool that Forsett did that but isn't he making the minimum right now? Not a smart move.

Also, after how inconsistent all of the top tier QBs have been (in the last couple of weeks), and with Houston putting themselves in decent position to make the playoffs, i think MVP should go to Watt
