Man Rex has had his chances

wrong ...

when Rex had players, he showed results. When he had scraps he did the best he could.

can't front though, players love this dude. i wonder what he'd do on a team like the Patriots or Seattle or one of the top teams in the league. Then I guess u can really judge him. still gon rock my Rex tee :smokin

Too many better jobs for him than WAS. Don't see it happening, possible HC jobs too.
It almost certainly won't happen, but it'd be nice. Jay Gruden loves Haslett which makes me sick :x

The only time I'd be cool with Snyder meddling with the personnel again is if he fires Haslett and brings in a competent DC.

Whoever had the idea to hire marty mornhinweg to fix the offense, should shoulder a large portion of the blame between coach and GM

It's never Rex fault, give him his 4th OC and 3rd GM....you'll see.
I agree with the point you're making.

Since when is it cool for a Head Coach to just know nothing about one side of the field, and hire horrible staff to run it too.

C'mon rillo, let's keep him then as the DC and hire a guy who's all offense and then we might have it right. Even though I know he wouldn't wanna "step down" and who would but that to me would be the formula ...

i'm talkin outta my *** watchin Tombstone, just don't want Rex gone |I

Would like to keep him as a DC but it's not going to happen, you never keep a demoted guy hanging around a new regime. First two years under Rex was awesome, but there were some serious red flags, and they never got corrected under his tenure. Week after week it was the same thing.

I wish him the best, maybe he can learn to be a head coach, but he was clearly over his head

how can a team be successful when it's best receivers and running backs are let go? mark sanchez, tim tebow, geno smith, how good could a team be with those 3 quarterbacks and a limited run game and mediocre receivers?

Did they ever draft an RB?  I'm surprised they never made a play for a young guy in the second or third.  It's when Jones and LT were gone that they really fell off...  Part of that being the line slipping as well.

On the flipside, you could say that he was given a chance to develop two first-round talents at QB and failed to provide them with any teaching or progression, in fact both regressed pretty badly under Rex and his staff.  Would you be confident drafting another young QB and giving him to Rex to develop?

I don't think it's a coincidence that every offensive skill position they've drafted has busted.

Maybe that's a "chicken or the egg" type of question.

"Unspecified violation of team rules"

Saw some tweets that said him & Johnny missed practice & a meeting.

reasonable idea. i place blame for sanchez on schottenheimer and the tebow experiment. schotty had little confidence in sanchiize as shown by the play calling. how many 3rd longs did we have that we conceded and ran the ball instead of letting mark try and do something downfield. plus they took his weapons away letting braylon, jones and keller go. the tebow thing was such a cluster**** that did tons of damage to the team thanks to Woody wanting to sell jerseys. Geno, i honestly never thought he was any good or had much talent. pretty much, he shouldn't have been drafted. guy throws a mediocre spiral.

my whole thing knowing this jets organization, they're just gonna hire some bum that'll get fired in a few years.
