" Harbaugh has accepted a job to become the next coach at the University of Michigan, sources confirmed Saturday evening to Comcast SportsNet Bay Area’s Dave Feldman.

The New York Times was first to report the official agreement.

Harbaugh and the 49ers are believed to have reached an agreement to allow Harbaugh to leave after four years of his five-year, $25 million contract. He is expected to be on the sideline Sunday when the 49ers finish their season against the Arizona Cardinals at Levi's Stadium.

Harbaugh is scheduled to be introduced at a press conference Tuesday in Ann Arbor, Michigan. "

Never saw him as the type to go back to college under these type of circumstances. I know it's his alma mater but still.

Agreed, I see him making his way back to the league when Michigan gets tired of his BS. and by then, the raiders will still suck but will need a NEW head coach, manning will be retired by then, Andy Reid will be fired by then, Rivers will be done by then, and the raiders will still suck, so Harbaugh will come in and take the raiders job to give the 49ers organization a double bird across the bay. While the niners live in regret having a 3-13 season.

There had to have been some serious *** **** going on behind closed doors with Harbaugh and that front office. The Niners were a joke in the Singletary days before he got there...then immediately became a Super Bowl contender every year but this year since he's been there.

There's nobody out there to really replace him right now, and Josh McDaniels damn sure ain't the guy that's gonna win them a Super Bowl.
 
Report: Manziel’s Friday night party led to players’ Saturday tardies

Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel’s tardiness on Saturday morning was precipitated by a late night of partying on Friday.

Manziel was fined for being late for treatment on his injured hamstring on Saturday, and Jason La Canfora of CBS reports that Manziel’s tardiness came after he threw a big party on Friday night, attended by many members of the team. La Canfora reports that other players were tardy on Saturday as well, although those players’ names have not been revealed.

It’s not clear whether Josh Gordon, who was suspended by the Browns for missing Saturday’s walk-through practice, was one of the players who attended Manziel’s party. But La Canfora reports that the Browns had to send their security staff to Manziel’s house to track him down on Saturday.

Manziel is on injured reserve, so he wasn’t going to play today anyway, but the fact that he’s showing up late for work — and that his party is leading other players to be late to work — is extremely alarming behavior for a franchise quarterback. Have you ever heard of Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees or Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson hosting a late-night party that resulted in themselves and teammates showing up late to work the next morning?

Manziel claims he’s taking his work seriously, but talk is cheap. Manziel’s actions suggest that he just doesn’t get it.
