I wonder just how many years the Niners set themselves back by chasing Harbaugh out the building.
They ****** up.
Rivers should demand a trade. I want to see this guy go to Buffalo or Cleveland. Houston or the Jets wouldn't be bad either.
Guess #Carrbage deserves to win the OROY over OBJ since QB is just so damn important in the NFL.
Go look through the 1st round picks of the NFL redraft thread and it'll say everything about how people truly feel about the value of positions in this league.
Pay attention Especially to who the first pick was, and who picked him.
Oh, and he explained exactly why he did so when he made the pick.
But the tune has changed now.
So you believe #ParkTheCarr deserves OROY over OBJ?
So you're going to ignore everything I just pointed out?
I was referring to you sarcastically pointing out how important QB's are.
Even the guy whose name is JJ Watt on this board still drafted a QB @ #1 ...over JJ watt.
And what did he say when he did so?
"man it's hard to pass up on my boy, but it's a QB DRIVEN LEAGUE. It's just the truth." (Paraphrasing, but you can go see the exact explanation he gave).
But now... it's not so QB driven anymore. Apparantly that goes out the window when trying to argue why Watt is MVP
Just because the league is QB driven doesn't mean a QB is the MVP every single year.

Phil would enjoy the AFCN, he seems to fit that mold
He wouldn't leave the beautiful sunny skies of San Diego for Buffalo snowstorms.

Even Strahan didn't win it when he broke the sack record. It may not be fair but that's the criteria voters have.
He is doeSkip just flat out called Johnny Football an alcoholic
maybe this should be a sign for those who think they know football..But that's all that Strahan did that year -- break the sack record. He didn't do anything else that JJ Watt does on the football field.Even Strahan didn't win it when he broke the sack record. It may not be fair but that's the criteria voters have.
He's had the best defensive year since LT won MVP.

Looks like one AP voter is splitting his vote between Rodgers and Watt.

"I covered Lawrence Taylor in 1986, the last time a defensive player won the MVP, and I believe this Watt season is better and more explosive than Taylor’s tremendous year 28 seasons ago. Shouldn’t that count for something?"
Wouldn't surprise me if the Seahawks make it to the SB on just defense alone"During Seattle’s six-game winning streak, foes have scored three touchdowns. That’s one every eight quarters."
Good lord. :x :x :x :x
so who is making the playoff prediction thread???????
