Rex and Chicago could be a good fit,he can help get the Bears back to their traditional strength on defense.

How? Inconstent offense and a defense that legitimately almost everybody needs to be replaced? They're better off just finding a better offensive mind to be the HC and whoever it is to bring along a top quality DC candidate.
 
So much for any shot at prying Gruden away from ESPN.

But if Johnson was entertaining the notion of hiring Gruden to replace Ryan, Gruden shot that down Tuesday.

Gruden confirmed he recently signed a contract extension with the network and has no plans to call Spider 2 Y Banana — or any other plays — from the sideline again anytime soon.

“This is as good a team as I’ve been on in a long time, and I’m excited to be part of this team,” Gruden said of ESPN.

The Bucs are interviewing Marty Mornhinweg, Brad Childress, Greg Roman, Marc Trestman and Dirk Koetter for the OC job.

It's like Lovie put together a list of who can continue to make his offense ******* terrible.

God help Mariota or Jameis if one of those guys is really going to be their first OC in the league.
 
Jim Haslett is out as the Skins defensive coordinator. During his 5 seasons here the defense ranked 29th in total yards and 30th in points allowed per game.

Jay Gruden was advocating for Haslett to stay. :smh:

Why does Marty still garner interest????? Do GMs/owners Not learn???

If those are the options I hope Trestman gets it and flourishes.
 
Trestman is the only dude even SOMEWHAT interesting on that list. Maybe he would work out as just an OC again but idk.

If the Bucs hire Roman and then draft MM8, I'll legit cry... and they won't be tears of happiness.
