im all for sports but to leave your finacee for a game that doesn't really mean much in grant scheme of things is too much. some people give the fan name a bad rap. people tend t forget that sports is meant to be a distraction

I only see you show up every time the playoffs are on.

You ain't really 'bout that life.

that's the funny thing. we get jobbed from time to time as well by the refs. but we don't ***** about it like little girls. we blame our offensive line, secondary, pass rush, or anyone else on the team besides our darling QB
Y'all most definitely ***** about it like little girls. Maybe not on here, but for sure in real life. I hear it all the time from Pats fans at my school whenever something doesn't go their way. They were talking about the missed PI call against Carolina last year for over a month

I agree that the PI call pick up was was garbage, whether due to refs just being bad at their jobs or someone got paid of BUT....

The Lions had TWO chances for game winning drives, and fumbled on both. So I cant buy into the game being rigged nonsense.

Man, I should've known better. Detroit fans blaming the refs for this L? Really?

The team that was up 14-0 and 20-7...? Those fans are blaming the refs?

Maybe, you know, the team shouldn't have let up a long TD at the end of the first half...maybe Stafford shouldn't have thrown that INT...maybe the D should've stopped Murray on 4th and 1 at the 1...but, nah, the refs man.

Biggest pet peeve ever. :smh:

I understand the refs missing calls. But the ref the threw the flag and 10 secs later cancels the penalty. That doesn't seem right no?

I'm even neccarrily mad they picked that flag up but that got damn "holding" call on 3rd down on Levy is what got me. After they picked up the flag on us.

Yup.

Truthfully the more I think about it, we deserve to lose because we threw ******* 20 yard pass to Brandon Pettigrew 3rd and short.
Those should've offset, but there also should've been another penalty on Dez for being on the field. I've never seen a player do what he did and not get flagged. Mind boggling.

i'm a fan of the sport before the team. some individuals are the opposite. but hey, if you feel that by your team losing is going to dictate significant future plans then so be it.

The difference is your team is a winning franchise so you, as well as the organization, are confident that despite being jobbed you can overcome it and win with other opportunities. The Lions on the other hand historically are losers so if they get jobbed its a bigger deal as this opportunity probably won't come again for a while where as if the Pats get jobbed, they'll be back as the 1 or 2 seed the following year. I'm not coming at you by the way. If anything I'm giving props for the fact that winning franchises don't need to moan that much because they have won or know they will win again.

coming to the conclusion that one single play determines the whole outcome is fallible. it's a series of events that add up, which leads up to the loss. lions still had a chance to win after the 'no call.'

so are Lions fans going to become the new Hawks fans? Be prepared to hear about this for the next 10 years Dallas fan

All jokes a55/10027/epabs. All jokes

On a serious note I listened to the final 5 minutes on the radio, I need to see some of these calls and mis calls

Still expect romo to go romo

And I expect Eagles to Eagle

On another note, I legitimately feel for Suh crying in that press conference. Players that show emotion reveal that they do care about winning and care about these games on the same level as some fans. Most players walk back to the sidelines thinking about what car they are going to purchase with their game checks.

Not excusing any of his dirty play, but this one clearly hurt him.

The ref that threw the flag was calling face guarding on Hitchens.
The head ref said the flag was picked up because face guarding isn't a penalty in the NFL.
The holding flag was legit because the dude tackled Dunbar.
Romo wisely threw Dunbar the pass making him an active receiver.
The ref had to throw the flag.

An NFL ref doesnt know face guarding is legal in the NFL?

Thats more troubling than anything if thats the case
