And that's the point.  The call stands, they score and they may not even HAVE to come back from behind, right?  This isn't that hard to follow.

Yeah, they had one last shot.  From behind.  On the road.  I'm sorry, but I'm taking being up 23-17 or 27-17 with a few minutes left in the 4th.  And who knows how much time they could've milked off the clock before scoring a FG or TD, leaving Dallas little time to score again.

It is what it is and like I said, that picked up flag thing didn't singlehandedly cost DET the game.  But it sure as hell helped put their backs up against the wall when it really should've helped them secure an even bigger lead.  That really was blatant DPI.  And we won't even get into Dez out on the field with his helmet off, yelling at the refs.   :smh:

the lions shouldn't have been in that situation to begin with. they should have put the game away. i know it's easier said then done but they had the cowboys against the wall and they let off the gas. lions have no one to blame but themselves. also, if lions were really about winning the game they should have never punted it back to the cowboys

Let's be honest guys, if Cowboys won 52-0, people would still say rigged, blame the refs. The hate would come even if there wasn't a flag like that.

Refs sucked in the Lions game. Smh but why didn't we run the ball on 3 and 1 with Bell? Then go for it on 4th if we didn't get the 1st down. I'm still pissed I feel like my squad got screwed.
Yea yall did get screwed on that PI call, but yall fumbled twice on the last drive. Can't blame the refs for that...

And that's why I ain't that tight. Teams with bad offensive lines don't make any real noise.

As much as I hate to admit this I would rather lose like this than get washed against a good defensive team.

Same way I feel dude. Watched this team all my life through the lowliest of lows only to have officials clearly impact the game in they way they did is sickening.

Might have to call in sick to work a few days this week to recover from this :smh:

You really believe the lions "let off the gas"?

and I assume you mean after they scored 14 points in the 1st quarter?

No but that non call after it was already ruled pass interference changed the dynamic of the game. We would of at least ran a couple mins off the clock and hit a fg.

Like I said we should of ran the ball on 3rd and 1 in the first place. Also we should of never punted on 4th and 1. We got too conservative and lost the game. I want Our offense coordinator fired lol. 2 games in a row now we didn't run the ball on 3rd and 1 during keys moments late in the game.

Yea after that PI call, I thought that yall would be pissed off and more aggressive with the play calling... yall were just kinda flat the last 5 mins.

yes and yes

So you think the lions started to play it safe when they got up 14 points after just 1 quarter.. And continued to do so after how quickly that got cut in half?

Hell the cardinals found some way to score 16 points in their game

With how food the Cowboys defense was early, jump ball throw it to Calvin with 3 defenders on him Stafford would have won this game. They turned him into a game manager because the defense is good.

This the NFL man the Cowboys have way too many weapons to be game managing to a win.

as soon as murray got going, it was a wrap. started slow but then started breaking off some chunks. the line started giving romo more time (barely)

Lions did let off gas. That can't be argued.

Play calling totally changed after that 14-0 lead

There is difference.. Yes you can change the play calling, go a little more conservative.. But I refuse to believe lions just assumed they would be safe with a 14 point lead after just 1 quarter

I know Caldwell isn't the greatest coach, but he can't be THAT dumb

Demarco Murray ran 18 times for 74 yards and 18 of them came on one run.

Romo won that game out of empty sets man.

Listen man I watch it for 17 games. It is what it is.

It ain't never been that serious.

I can't believe some of ya'll still in here defending this ****. The refs clearly handed you the game. I'm not even a Lions fan and I could care less about them but the delusion of Cowboys fans in here and around me is mindboggling. Ya'll really didn't see the blatant holding in the second half? You couldn't handle that pass rush in the first half so they let ya'll get away with dirty stuff in the 2nd half. It's plain as day. Dez runs on the field with NO HELMET and yells at a ref, gets no call and you pick up the PI?! WTF?! That's a penalty! Period. Look you guys are going into Lambeau, and let me tell you, Mr. Rodgers ain't going for the b*ll****. Good luck.

had no idea he only ended up with 74.

seemed like romo kept getting killed/sacked on those empty sets. but you're probably right. i guess i was trying to say that the cowboys made some adjustments up front that helped. was still tough for them, but nothing like that first quarter.

they got conservative. then when they began unleashing the aggressive play calling it was too late and the cowboys were back in the game.

not really sure what the cardinals have anything to do with this, it's different scenarios

Because they stopped calling holding once the crowd got hype :smh:
