Bucs need to call the niners right after this game and give them a 3rd round pick for Boone

Vikings:

- First team offense looked crisp and on the same page. Idk if that's an attribute to them or the crappy Raiders DBs (Cheka balled tonight though).
- Bridgewater was both good and bad, sucks his first play roll out was called back, he put some zip on the ball to the sideline. Worked very well with the first team, aside from the fumble, which he cannot have. Get rid of the ball in that situation or take off faster. He showed a lot of poise in the pocket and got rid of the ball quick (which was a knock on his in practice all training camp), good elusiveness to get out of sacks - though he was sacked twice. I see a good future for him, but he's not there yet I feel.. let him sit the first few games of the season and then he can take over when he has a better grasp.
- Thielen looked good on Punt Returns, Jerrick McKinnon looked pretty damn good for a guy of his size as well.
- Gerald Hodges with the FG Block :pimp:
- Christian Ponder played like Christian Ponder.

Falcons need another premier pass rusher....Massaquoi is going to be good but they need another one, make a got damn trade.

I look forward to Nick Foles this season. I'm expecting a MONSTER sophomore slump. 15-20 INTs for Napoleon Dynamite.

I agree. I don't see a sophomore slump for Foles. It'll be hard as hell to duplicate that proficiency he had from last year, but no way he throws 15 interceptions.

As if Kelly was out there running anything close to the real offense

He can throw 10 INTS and still have a better season than last year but people pay way too much attention to a meaningless preseason game

I expect him to come back down to earth a bit (which wouldn't mean he's having a bad season or even playing poorly).. But I wouldn't go that far

But he was ok even in his rookie year being thrown to the wolves.. And last year he didn't come into the season as the number 1 guy

But if he is going fail, I hope it's big so we can get our future QB in the draft next year and don't have to pony up a ton to foles

No love for my QB thread, Ballerific? Is it because I can't stand that goober Eli?

 calling him a goober is hilarious. That thread seemed like it had been slowing down. Just posted it in here, didn't plan on talking about Nick Foles for two pages.

Wishful thinking

Nah, just don't think he's that good and thought he overachieved. My biggest worry is my Giants awful O line. They're the toughest opponent in the division for the Giants :smh:

Bucs jerseys looked good to me last night. It also seems like starters are playing a good amount for week 1 of preseason. Usually its a few snaps or one full series.
