Carter was awful, YPC awful, but he at least had 15 TD in his first two years in the league, plus he was still playing in Year 5.
Adams had only one competent season (2007 with six sacks) and he was out of the league at the end of Year 3.
With the Boston Globe's of the world competing with Deadspin, whatever gets the most hits is more or less news now. I shouldn't be telling you anything you don't know, come on now.

But Blackmon was a beast for the short time he was eligible to play so I don't think he qualifies

He was the one that said Blackmon beasted his first year, to which I compared to Richardson's rookie year with better numbers. So by his definition, not mine. You don't put things together very fast but you'll eventually put that together I'm assuming.
He was a rookie RB who had 11 TD and 950 yards with Brandon Weeden and Thaddeus Lewis at QB. Offensive line was good, but when you're playing with a Weeden/Thad combo -- the defense stacked the box because at the time people thought Richardson was the only actual weapon on that offense.
And I never said his YPC was good or he is good, but if you said Blackmon beasted with 5 TD and 800 yards (stoneface) then by that use of the word beasted, so did Richardson.

Came in to post this. Blew out his knee early in his career and never recovered. Not everyone does. So he's not mentioned.
The whole Trent thing isn't news because he was sick a few weeks ago and they didn't play him. He was healthy last week and he was inactive. I don't think anyone thought he would be there tomorrow in uniform.
