Seriously, after the SB it's time to have a thread about where LOB D is historically.

The LOB is up there in my opinion. I don't think they are better than the 2000-01 Ravens, the Steel Curtain, or the 85 Bears; but they are in the conversation.

People forgetting about the early 2000's Bucs defense I see.......

This Seahawks defense is the best I've seen since them.

Marshawn needs to be a Seahawk til he retires. I don't wanna see him anywhere else.

I hope he gets into the HOF when it's all said and done. That speech would be epic.

Agreed

They need to make Marshawn a lifer..idc idc idc

He had 53 more rushing yards in 2013 with Russell Wilson than he did in 2011 with TJax/Whitehurst.

Beast Mode will be fine wherever he goes.

Russell Wilson has 1 more playoff game and less than half the INT's Luck has. 3 more TD's. 26 point higher rating. 5% higher completion %

But hey stats don't matter. It's all about the eye test
Stats do matter.  Want to hear a couple fun ones?

The Seahawks have given up an average of 17.5 points per game in Russell Wilson's playoff career.

The Colts have given up an average of 29.8 points per game in Andrew Luck's playoff career.

How you and other Wilson stans fail to see how much this impacts a quarterback is beyond me.  It is like you are choosing to be ignorant.

I can def see the point you are making and its very valid but put Russell on the Colts and no way I see them even making the playoffs

Russell is in the perfect situation with a coach who knows exactly who fits his system
I can agree with that, honestly, I would pay to see RW sulking on the Colts sidelines for a year lol.

So what you are trying to say and i am to ignorant to see is having a good defense makes your QB throw better?

You gotta take Luck 99.5% of the time. He's too damn talented. Didn't Peyton have similar interception issues early in his career? Luck just needs more experience and a competent running game so he doesn't have to force the issue all the time.

I think some of Andrew Luck's turnover contribute to the Colts defense giving up points

But yes the Seahawks defense is better than the Colts defense

Andrew Luck INT's yesterday came with the score 31-7, and 45-7.

It was 31-7 before Andrew Luck had a turnover. And you in here, today, talkin about ******* turnovers by Luck, when you're guy had FOUR, and the Packers only had 19 points to that point of the ball game????????

i know marshawn is 28 turning 29... i know he's supposed to hit "the wall" soon.. but yesterday he looked so damn EXPLOSIVE. maybe he's one of those rare rbs that could be productive in his early 30's? i worry about his back though.

i just love that dude beast mode

I don't understand why some Seahawk's fans can't except people don't look at Russell as elite. He's a good QB and he fits the Seahawks perfectly.

It's almost like you want to discredit the defense in order to put Russy up there with the Brady's, Mannings, etc.
